I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Himalayan High. My wife and I wanted to do the Har Ki Dun trek but didn't want to be part of one of the many larger trips most trekking companies plan. I reached out to Himalayan High about the "self guided option" they listed on their website and ended up getting a totally bespoke trip for just my wife and I. Planning and communication was excellent leading up to the trip ( thanks Suman!) and our guides (required in a national park) were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, not to mention great cooks. We are already thinking about our next Himalayan trek and will definitely be working with Himalayan High.
We did a recent Sandakphu trek with Hinalayan High. Few months before the trip, inquiries made to the company were promptly replied by Mr Suman. He also offered different options that would fit our fitness level and schedule. Our many questions and concerns were addressed to enable us to decide on the itinerary that suited us. There was also transparency in the costs and added fees. We opted for private trek so that we could go at our own pace.
The lodging arrangements were made with our needs taken into consideration. (We preferred private rooms, being both ladies). While we did not expect 3-4* star hotel accommodations, the rooms were comfortable enough with sufficient blankets to keep us warm at night. We were prepared for shared bathroom facilities in a couple of homestays, having experienced so in previous treks.
Due to health issues, we were not able to do the original long trek. But in exchange, our altered trek itinerary gave us unexpected blessings, additional day at Sandakphu to marvel at the scenery and catch glimpse of Everest on clear mornings. The alternative trek led us to a relatively new and clean Homestay with ensuite rooms down at Gurdum. It was situated at a picturesque spot with sunrise view from our room. There was even hot water available for a good bath after few days of trek. What luxury! Food by the homestay host was also delicious - fried noodles, and dumplings, with their home-made chilli paste. The stay was so wonderful that we chose to stay an additional day. It certainly exceeded our expectations.
We are thankful to our guide, G.D. for his thoughtfulness. He prioritised our safety, ensured that we were comfortable and well fed. Mr Raju of the trekking company also checked in on us a few times to ensure that we were alright especially at Sandakphu. We are also grateful in the quick adaptation of itinerary to make the trek more manageable for us. We had a good laugh when we learnt from other trekkers further on the route that they had heard about the group who had to alter trek route due to health reasons....how news passed, but also shows the connectedness of the trekking community in that area.
What we also enjoyed were the opportunities to get to know the people and hear about the history of the places we visited. Their love for the land and passion in what they do certainly came through in the conversations with G.D. and Mr Suman. Will certainly recommend Himalayan High to my friends.
At the age of 64, my intention was to make an attempt and see how physically, mentally and emotionally was I fit. Company of my guide Raju, enhanced my confidence and made my trip extremely enjoyable. Raju has great experience. He truly lives you to be what a GUIDE needs to be. I trekked the Sandakphu phalut trail with Himalayan high and I must say, I've had one of the best experiences of a lifetime. This company is purely about trekking and connecting with the mountains. We understand the True essence of travelling in the mountains, unlike certain other companies whose priorities lie elsewhere. The guide Mr. Raju, Mr. Suman, they were all very helpful and we became good friends with out guide Raju in the 7 days we spent together. 10/10 I would recommend trekking with himalayan high, to truly understand the essence and to connect with the mountains. The entire support team was fantastic – cook Raj, assistant cook Anand, and our Yak guy Pemba. They all added to the experience in meaningful ways.
A huge highlight was the food, which was consistently delicious and energizing – it played a big part in keeping our spirits high throughout the trek. We were honestly amazed by the quality and variety, especially given the remote mountain setting.

We did the Kang Yatse 2 trek with Himalayan High and we were more than pleased about the care they have for the people. Montu was a really awesome guide and all the team from the chef, the boys that helped and everybody took so much care about us to feel comfortable. The food was awesome(we even had pizza and french fries some times), the tents and sleeping bags(we never felt cold at night), the toiletts, athmosphere and everything exceeded my expectations.

I climbed Kang Yatse 1 with Himalayan High and honestly it was one of the best trips of my life. Being a solo female traveller I was nervous about the trip beforehand but I was so well looked after by the team at Himalayan High that my concerns faded very quickly.
The first week of this trip was a rotation between different acclimatization walks in Leh and a homestay in Rumbak, which was absolutely beautiful and I really enjoyed having these experiences as part of my acclimatization journey because the experience then wasn't just about reaching the summit.
The second week was spent at basecamp with rotations to camp 1 and summit camp. This bit was really well thought out to ensure I was acclimatized and ready for summit but also really adapted to my needs and the spare summit day was absolutely crucial to what I needed.
The team who looked after me at base camp were absolutely amazing. Because I was travelling alone I really felt we got to know eachother really well and I left with some lovely new friends. I was so well fed for the whole trip - the food was always absolutely delicious and plentiful! The water situation was also perfect - the water was boiled and treated before I got it.
I cannot fault Himalayan High - everything was thought about, I felt so safe and well looked after at all times and I had so much fun on this trip with the team and learned SO much from them.
I would definitely not hesitate to book with Himalayan High again- in fact I will probbaly do another trip with them in the not-too-distant future.

Breathtaking Views and Unforgettable Memories - Har Ki Dun trek
My partner and I recently completed the 7-day Har Ki Dun trek with Himalayan High Altitude Treks and Expeditions, and it was an experience of a lifetime! Suman was brilliant at organising a customised experience for us. The trek was challenging, but the stunning scenery and picturesque villages made every step worth it. Our guide, Shravan, was exceptional - knowledgeable, supportive, and ensured our safety throughout the trek. He was very happy to adjust on the fly what we did for the day and move the days and the places where we camped.
The campsites had our personalised dining and toilets tents. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable, with delicious surprising meals 4 times a day 😀.
The highlight of the trek was reaching the Har Ki Dun valley, surrounded by towering peaks and serene nature. It was truly a spiritual experience.

I decided to go on a relatively last minute trip to hike Singalila in Darjeeling District. Himalayan High Altitude were great in communication, helping me to quickly understand the itinerary, plans, guide, things required etc. When I was interested to change the planned itinerary they were accomodating, when I was confused on the price breakdown they picked up the phone to explain to me in detail. Everything when perfectly on the ground and all in all a great trip. We enjoy solitude and treading quietly in the mountains in small groups. Fortunately, we found Suman and his team, who guided us and helped us with logistics for our 7-day DIY backpacking trip to Har Ki Dun and Ruinsara Tal. We were accompanied by Shravan and Dewashish, who readily shared their knowledge of local wildlife and culture with us. We felt safe and confident throughout the trip, and thoroughly enjoyed it thanks to their warmth and professionalism. Rumtse Tsomoriri Trek With Himalayan High
In June we did the Rumtse Tsomoriri trek with Himalayan high. Before the time that team took great care in answering all our questions and ensuring that we had sufficient and correct gear for our 8-day trek. From arrival in Leh the team make sure that we acclimatized correctly. From day one on the trek, they set a good pace that suited the whole group. The meals were amazing, and we were amazed on how they could prepare such a variety of meals daily from the kitchen tent and even made my husband a cake for his birthday. Our tents were set up everyday at each camp site. The team ensured that we were in good health - with oxygen checks and with continuous check-ups with us.
I have never done a trek before, and the team made it possible. It was difficult but not impossible.

The trek with Himalaya High Altitude Treks and Expeditions has been a unique and powerful experience for us as a small group and most importantly, adapted to our needs not only at its outset, but again and again. Beyond the superb organization of the whole trip, the effort that the guides made for us, as we had difficulty adjusting to the cold at night, so we would get maximum warming, is unforgettable and very highly appreciated. After we made it to the highest point of the trek at 4,200 meter, with the incredible luck of having seen and well documented ourselves with the mighty background of the sunny Kangchenchonga in all its splendor, the guides team went a long way to change the whole plan to one that fit our updated needs. These are part of the memories that made the trip not only an exciting adventure of all that nature can stun you with, but also a teamwork that made this experience all the more pleasant and enriching.
Suman and his team simply go above and beyond. I've rarely experienced such service and customer driven guides, while never neglecting safety and day to day situations. The Goechala trek we did with them was well organized every step we took, and a special mention deserves out lead guide Krishna - ask for him explicitly... Perfect English, well educated and knowledgeable and phantastic physical condition, always focused on spoiling us as his guests. In the background Suman was always present and when there were changes in plans, he took care with no mention and we could feel his smile even through WhatsApp.

We did the Sandakphu Phalut Trek with Himalayan High. Pre journey, Suman was very prompt in responding to our queries and that helped us finalize the trek in a short period before the trek departure date. During the trek, Raju was our trek leader and he was fantastic throughout the trek (guided us when needed or asked and gave us our space at other times). We learnt immensely from Raju. The homestays and meals provided were very good. All our add-on requests (taxis and equipment rentals) were serviced in a professional manner. This was a memorable trek, with a slight disappointment of not being able to see the peaks from Phalut due to the weather. I look forward to doing another trek with Himalayan High.

The Sandakphu-Phalut Trek with Himalaya High was my first trek. However, all my doubts and fears got significantly reduced within the first day of trek with Himalaya High. Himalaya High had arranged everything in detail regarding the trek without any flaw. They took care of our comfort, fooding and safety with extreme importance. The equipments which Himalaya High had provided like tents and sleeping bags were spacious and cosy. Sandakphu Phalut Trek is a lovely trek with great Himalayan mountains views especially months of Nov / Dec. Was doing this trek with my sister and her kids who all are first timers. So speaking on behalf of them too, a very doable trek . The stay arrangements by Himalayan High was good and comfortable. No tented stay which is a big plus given the cold and first timers adapting to it.
The food was basic but nutritious and helped during the 6 days of trekking. The homestay hosts never complained when we kept asking for hot water.
Mesmerizing views kept us company throughout the trek. The only not so good part about the trek is walking on the road ( same used by 4WD ) and the last stretch downhill to the base camp which one has an option to hire a car also. Overall, a trek one must do ....

And it was one of the best treks with gorgeous views, awesome camaraderie and amazing hosts all along the way. Trek guides Raju Bhayya and Mingma were one of the most humble, hard-working and accommodative guides. Both of them took personal care of us and were always ready to help no matter what the situation was. The trek company is very professional and made sure we had the best experience all 6 days, though it was our first trek in this range. It was a great experience trekking with the group. Our guides/leaders Ramosh and Bijoy were very knowledgeable, welcoming and really helpful whenever required. The briefings before the trek and every morning we're on point and set the tone for each day. The food and stay arrangements were decent for the terrain and geography.

Both the guides are not of equal levels. It also seemed they have no clear idea about the actual distance of the treks. First two days stay were good, rest all days were below average though we have seen other teams given better accommodation.

Himalayan High is an excellent option of you want a peaceful and hassle-free trek. I completed the Sandakphu-Phalut Trek with this company and they seemed to do the best they could in ensuring a safe and fulfilling experience. The trek leader from the company and the local guide were uncompromising in their responsibilities. The homestays and food provided were not high-class, but not bad either. Homestays completed the purpose of a decent sleep and food was good-enough for a nutritious meal. Non hardcore trekkers who do not trek with passion, but just for an experience can definitely choose this company. Great service from their end, much appreciated!

The trek experience with Himalayan high was great all together. We opted for sandakphu phalut trek from 17th to 23rd December 2022. Our trek leader Raju Chhetri was humble but quite professional. He guided and handled the entire trek with great care. The trek was quite challenging for first timers, but we completed it against all odds. The walk from ahal to phalut was the most difficult strech of 19kms but it was the most scenic route with the sleeping budhha looking back at us at every corners. The sunrise from phalut top was other worldly and so was the 360 view of Sunrise, Sleeping budhha and Everest. Would definitely recommend HH for their hospitality and their chosen trek route as it provides best view of the sleeping budhha.

It was a very good experience on the trek, for a beginner like me on trekking i have collected many experiences and learnings from the trek which would help me to trek more and better in future.
I am more than happy to complete this trek and very grateful to Himalayan high team and particularly to Mr Suman and Mr Ram (our guide) for organizing it so well that it made the trek very comfortable and convenient.
My group had borrowed shoes, gloves, trekking pole and ruck sack. All equipment and gears were of good quality. Their help and support starting from booking the trek till finishing it was incredible. Their website has detailed blogs on everything which is required to prepare for the trek and travel.

Nothing negative. The trekk has been marvellous, everything was natural as it should happen, the quality of foods, the locations and the guide was very friendly and informative about the places.
You know the trip is gonna be an amazing one when you're surrounded by the right people. Four of us from Bangalore started off with great expectations form the Kedarkanta trek which was definitely fulfilled by Himalayan High. I'm glad to have been associated with Himalayan High for various reasons.
Firstly, we were provided with a trek guide, a cook and a trek planner who simply did their best for us. Secondly, I must mention that I've had mouth watering food during the trek and while at their homestay in Sankri which included deserts like Gajar ka Halwa and Gulab Jamun that we never expected. One wouldn't appreciate the food unless he's been on the trek himself. On a whole, they provide nutritious food that your body needs for the trek to summit.
Going ahead, they were very knowledgeable about the whole trekking program and it was a very well planned one. Lastly, we were provided with the right equipments and accessories for the Himalayan trek.
Overall, I had an unforgettable experience that I will forever ignite me when I ruminate on the scenery and the people I met.
In March, 2022, we took HIMALAYAN HIGH's services and trekked to Sandaklphu-Phalut. Everything was perfectly planned and executed. The homestays, food, and entire trek planned by them were amazing. I had accompanied my nephews & their friends (group of 8) on a Vehicle in a customized Sandakphu/Phalut trek from Dec 17th - 27th. Must say, I was totally unprepared for the extreme cold and wanted to return...But, all thanks to Raju, our guide, I was able to tolerate the extreme cold of up to -20 degrees and see the amazing Himalayan peaks,. HH Hospitality was Excellent. Hot hot teas, soups, and Fresh cooked food helped me manage the extreme cold comfortably. Our daily needs like hot water were taken care of even before we could ask. Sandeep, vehicle driver, was an amazing driver, who drove very smoothly even on such bad roads. Lastly, special mention about SUMAN. Met him at the end of the trek. He asked for and took my feedback very positively. He arranged for my travel from Maneybhanjyang to Darjeeling. Since I was traveling alone with our group's luggage, he called up the staff at the Darjeeling Hotel and ensured that they picked up the luggage from the vehicle...Thank you HH....Totally, recommend Himalayan HIgh, to everyone.....
The whole trek is complete package of experience. The on boarding process or services from the administration is seamless. This was my 6th Sandakphu trek but it was amazing. Only issue we got was the tent stay at phalut. It was damn cold, we couldn’t feel our body. But overall it was the best experience. The Guide (bijay) was the best. He fulfilled all our askings. Himalayan high should give him some kind reward to this person.
It was my first ever solo trek. I enjoyed, learnt and experienced a lot. Himalayan high team is amazing. They were not only guiding me throughout the trek but also taking care of my nutrition properly with good quality food. They had also provided a good hygienic homestay. Now, I am looking forward with more hiking and trekking with you.

It was our first trek, and we chose to go with Himalayan High (HH). We trekked as a private group of 8 members, customized our itinerary and booked vehicles too along with the trek, which was all very well organized and coordinated by HH for reasonable cost. It was a pleasant experience overall. As we went through the journey we realized that HH is definitely one of the best. Mr Suman (Founder & CEO of HH) suggested us best options and provided relevant guidance. Mr Raju (our guide & trek leader) was awesome! Mr Raju is perhaps the best trek leader you can get for Sandakphu-Phalut Trek, as he's the most knowledgeable and has excellent people network in that area. For a group of 8 people, we were provided two guides. Mr Raju regularly monitored our health (pulse, SpO2, cold/cough, cramps, etc.) and provided support as needed. Unlike guides or trek leaders in other more popular trekking agencies, Mr Raju was quite friendly and ensured we received adequate personal care and assistance in his capacity, such as arranging hot water, or carrying one of our luggage if we were tired, etc. Mr Raju was also quite friendly, cracked jokes, told us some of his experiences and interacted with us very well. Despite the extreme cold temperatures of almost -20 degrees, for which most of us were unprepared, we didn't experience any significant issues as we were provided enough equipment whenever required (such as sleeping bags, ruck sack, gloves, trekking pole, etc.). If you're considering to go for Sandakphu-Phalut trek, then there's no one better than HH.

This was my first trek and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip to Himalayas ( Sandakphu Phalut ) . The hospitality, care and support given by the team is absolutely appreciated. Guide Raju has been very helpful in every form. We were given two guides for our group of 8 people. Suman helped us with the customisation of trip with respect to car support, offloading and making sure we were served hot meal at all times. Pulse and Heartbeat were recorded daily. Himalayan High has offered the best of facilities compared to other trekking groups in the budget.
Sandakphu_Phalut trek was the first trek of my life like most Bengali youth way back in 1985. So, it was revisit after 35 years while became senior citizen.
The operator considered to let me join as a participant despite being a senior citizen.
The pros about Himalayan High -
1. Keeps the group size small and well manageable.
2. Provides some essential trek accessories for free to use during the trek.
3. The trek leader and guide provided for the trek were caring to every individual participant during the trek and after the days trek was over enquiring every participant's well being to support with limited resources available in the high mountain.
4. The Home stay Chosen to observe Sunrise at Sandakphu was well thought little away from Sandakphu which has become crowded and Bazar like. While in 1985 there used to be only one PWD Inspection Guest House and one Trekker's Hut.
5. Overall the arrangement was decent.
And the Cons -
1. The accommodation provided @Phalut was far from basic comfortable limit. No one wants luxury but acceptable basic. In a very small room which barely can accommodate five persons were given to be shared by nine. It was suffocating and I had almost sleepless night. The organizers should take care to provide better accommodation at Phalut within the limited facility available at Phalut.
It was an incredible experience with Himalayan high. Trekking through borders of India and Nepal, trekking through places where there was no electricity and proper water supply, Himalayan high incredibly managed everything for us.
The guides were very friendly and helpful. One of our guides Vijay da gave us the best experience we could have. From 1st day to the last day everything was awesome. We were able to experience every little thing like knowing about the Flora and fauna, Animals and the last day we went to the river, it made it an unforgettable memory. Our homestays were always in the best location whether it was for sunset or sunrise, in Gorkhey we had the homestay with a river view and we even did a bonfire.
All over it was the best experience.
It was a splendid experience. It was my first long trek in North Bengal. Overall good arrangments and service were provided by Himalayan high all the staff were helpful and friendly.

It all started with me exploring North east India. A quick google search took me to Himalayan High and HIMANSHU was very helpful in finalising our itenerary for Sandakphu trek. On Day 1, we reached Manebhanjan homestay. We were greeted by locals. We were soon joined by our other team members. We bonded almost at once and enjoyed the Diwali cracker show at this small village and the simple dinner our hosts had prepared for the night. RAJU gave us a good brief on Dos and Donts for the long trek ahead. This was our first multi-day trek. On Day 2, we started off by 0830 hrs for a steep trek of 6 km through the pine trees. Our senior guide VIJAY, a gentle soul in his 30s had joined us by then. He took the forward position and Vijay, our other guide took up the rear. We were a group of nine with ages varying from 19 to 48 years of age. We had great view of Kanchenjunga and Singalila Range all through the day as we took a tea break at Meghma, lunched near Chitrey and stopped for the night in a homestay at Tumling. On Day 3, we started off by 07:30 hrs and this time also weather was very pleasant with clear view all around. We trekked along a gentle climb to lunch at Kayargutta and finally reached Kalapokhri homestay by 1630 hrs for our night stay. After a simple dinner we retired early. On Day 4, we started by 07:30 journey to Sandakphu. It was a steep trek but we enjoyed each moment with the group. We finally reached Al a stop near sandakphu also knows as Sunset point. We were surprised to see that the hotel was well stocked with goodies and variety of dishes. It was warm inside the restaurant. Towards evening we trekked to the sunset point and though we could not have a glimpse of Everest and other peaks due to dense fog and clouds, we could enjoy the various hues of the sky due to the setting sun. We came back to the hotel and enjoyed a sumptuous dinner consisting of Chowmein and fried rice. Electricity was available only through solar panels and diesel genset for a limited time. Water was also scarce since it had to be brought by tanker from halfway uphill. So we retired early. On Day 6, we woke up early in the morning (0430 hrs) to get a glimpse of Everest, Kanchenjunga and the other famous peaks along with Sleeping Buddha pose. It was quite foggy and the clouds made it difficult to catch the Mt Everest peak clearly, We then started our climb towards PHALUT. The climb down was arduous due to the steepness and rocky trail. We were very tired by lunch due to pressure on the knees. The weather was also very foggy and the mountain ranges were not visible. However the Shrikola river and Timbure village gave us scenic views. We reached our Homestay at PHALUT by dusk and our hosts headed by Vijay made our stay comfortable by offering us veg momos with tea and later a simple dinner. We were very tired and quickly retired to bed. On Day 7, we went back to Gorkhey. The Fireplace was the best. The entire trek was made very memorable by the bonding within our group despite the varied age difference. We had great fun and will always remember the great time we had. We carry a lot of photographs for remembering those fun moments we had. Thank you Vijay and Raju.Thank you Himalayan High. Thank you all the hosts en route Sandakphu and back. I went to sandakphu phalut trek on 30.10.21with Himalayan High. It was a fantastic experience with them. Specially our guide Raju vaiya very good and helpful person. All homestay and teahouse is very good and food also very good and tasty. I really enjoy the experience because it was my 1st Himalayan trek. Special thank you our guide RAJU vai. Nxt year we planning our next trek kedarkantha very soon with Himalayan High.
It was my first overnight trekking experience and it was awesome. The equipments rented by me were in very good condition. The food served was delicious from start till the end. Our trek leader Raju jee and trek guide Ajay jee were very amicable and helpful everytime. Overall I would give a big thumbs up 👍

We went for the Sandakphu-Phalut trek in November 2021 and it was an the finest experience in every aspect. The communication prior to the trek, accomodation and food arrangements were great.
Our trek leader Mr Raju was very systematic yet flexible to each of the team members' needs. He was very informative, was always concerned of our health, oxygen levels and provided us an authentic experience
We went on the Tarsar Marsar trek with Himalayan High towards the end of July - early August. This was our first high altitude multiday trek. We were very excited but it was also very new and different from what we were used to. But all the arrangements made by HH made the trek such an enjoyable and memorable experience. Our trek leader Suman and his crew of very capable staff took care of all the little details - from the food, to making sure we camped at gorgeous campsites, to our health. We had daily checks to ensure we were fit to trek, were served comforting warm food to our taste everyday and the campsites were secluded and set away from the crowd just like we would want it. Suman made sure to keep pushing us to try a little harder everyday even when were exhausted which is so important in any trek. Overall it was a memorable experience and I wouldn’t opt for anything different when I plan my next trek.
The trek to Tarsar lake in Kashmir was an incredible experience and we couldn’t have asked for a better trek company than the Himalayan High. They had gathered a great team of local trek guide with nuanced local knowledge which was very important in a remote place like Tarsar in Kashmir, the cook was from Uttarakhand and made great meals and lovely desserts for us, the horse men were kind and took great care of our offloaded rucksack, made the tents with care and most importantly , Suman - our trek leader was a knowledgeable person with strong work ethics and a balanced mind making sure we met our trek objective while also having an enjoyable experience. The ‘Himalayan high’ philosophy of trekking appealed to us (my wife and me). They don’t do large groups of 20 -25 trekkers at low rates which has pretty much become a norm but instead customize small groups at value for money rates. The large groups with the army of horses And logistics, do cause damage to the fragile environment in the Himalayas. We could see how the trek routes And meadows had been damaged With the large group of trekkers and horses. On certain days we could see 40-50 trekkers and up to 100horses making their way through the otherwise untouched grasslands and pine forests. The Himalayan High on the other hand is very aware of their responsibility towards preserving the ecology of the area, they (and us) made sure that we left every campsite cleaner than we found it, often collecting waste of other precious campers along the way as well. We definitely returned better trekkers than when we started. Overall a great experience with a professional Approach to trekking. Look forward to more treks with Himalayan High! 👍🏽
We went on Har ki dun- Ruinsara tal trek with the Himalayan high, the experience was amazing. The homestays were comfortable and cozy; food offered was so delicious that the tiredness after the trek was worth, not to forget about the juices and soups before the evening snacks.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Mr. Pradeep; our trek leader led us to this trek through a different route than the original one due to some difficult weather conditions , surely would appreciate his efforts.
I have no complaints; would definitely recommend others and would plan my other treks with Himalayan high.
First time with Himalayan High but was totally worth it. Did Sandakhphu-Phalut Trek in March '21 and it was totally a wonderful experience. Raju da, our trek guide was so supportive to us in every situation. Come what may, he was always there for us. He kept up with our pace, was patient but always on time. Due to his promptness and our enthusiasm, we made sure we enjoyed every moment of the trek. The homestays where we stayed were really good and not so crowded which was the best part about HH. Wanted to stay in a tent in Phalut but weather was very bad so Raju da took the decision to not stay in the tent.
I definitely would recommend Himalayan High for any trek that you want to go to.
I went to Sandakphu and Phalut trek on 17th April with Himalayan High. It was a wonderful experience with them. The trek gears I rented from them are really good and they also provide some free gears that turned out to be very helpful during the trek. I want to mention our guides Bijay and Raju, who can deal with every emergency and crisis with a smile. All tea houses/homestays where we stayed while hiking have a beautiful location with tasty food and appropriate basic amenities. Obviously, one cannot expect the luxury of plain in the cold desert of an altitude above 3000 meters. We're lucky to have what we have there.
I would certainly plan another trek with them very shortly.
We had opted for Sandakphu-Phalut trek during April 2021 with Himalayan High. I along with my friends and family went for the trek which was an exciting and enriching experience. We were taken good care of and the food provided was very healthy and tasty (no doubt on that). Even though it was amid Covid time, all the protocols were followed and we given proper guidance about the do's and don'ts on the trek. Our trek guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our health was monitored daily and we used to have briefings everyday on the next course of action. It was our 1st ever trekking experience and we had a great time , took back fond memories and knowledge.
I always wanted to go on a trek and experience the natural beauty and also feel the adventures of it. One such opportunity came when my friends Rohit and Anindita asked me to go on Sandakphu-Phalut trek with them. The trek organised by Himalayan High was up to the mark and we were able to complete the trek in good time. The trek leader Raju bhaiya and guide Vijay bhaiya were really helpful and catered to all the basic needs as possible. The continuous monitoring of Oxygen level at high altitude and the food along with the beautifully located homestays were the highlights. I would definitely like to go on other treks with Himalayan High in future.

Trekking was so much fun with himalayan high. They had provide proper guidance when trekking. Moreover at aala I got unwell so guide raju had provided proper guidance to improve health condition.

We undertook a trek to Sandakphu-Phalut from 4.4 to 9.4.2021. Very nice and highly organised. Special mention to be made on provision of complementary accessories, like backbag, gloves, etc. The offloading facilities provided made the trek easier for seniors like us.
He took personal interest on very minute but important details, like shoes. We hired Boots, which made our trek easier and comfortable. Arrangements in all Home Stays and unlimited Food were of good taste. Both the Guides, Raju and Vijay were very good and trained. Due to some health issues of one boy, he had to discontinue the trek at Allhl, and Raju was quite capable of handling the crisis and arranged vehicle at midnight 2.30 AM and sent all four (2 girls & 2 Boys) to Maneybhanjyang.
At Phalut, initially, we were given beds in the floor and we were anxious bcoz of snow fall. But guide, Raju later managed to get proper bed for all of us.
only one minus point which I felt, after reaching village, it took another half an hour to reach Home Stay. Since we were all tired, we expected stay a little ahead. Better if Home stays are arranged at the entry point of the village.
Would like to undergo more treks with HH in future.
We just completed Har ki dun with Ruinsara trek and we had to say that this is one of the most exciting trip that we ever done, We don't have single complain about our tour. Everything was perfect/ Our food, tent and specially staff of Himalayan high. Pradeepji Out trek leader is vary talented, he knows each and every detail of Har ki dun. I cannot recommend this enough and yes, We are looking forward to do more treks with Himalayan High!!
I had done Har ki dun with Ruinsara Tal trek with Himalayan High. We were a small group of 5. The experience was amazing. The homestays were pretty good and the people were so welcoming. Mentioning about the food; they served delicious and healthy food along with dessert each day. A special thanks to Mr. Pradeep; our trek leader who managed to execute our trek to Ruinsara tal through a different route as the original one was destroyed; making it difficult for the mules to reach. It was a bit challenging for us; but we were excited as ours was the first batch to do Ruinsara tal in 2021. We enjoyed the trek thoroughly. So, yes, I would definitely look forward to do more treks with Himalayan High.
Hello I did my first trek (sandakphu phalut trek) with himalayan high on 3rd April 2021...I must say the guides were very helpful friendly and well experienced ...homestays and food were good..we were given trek poles, rucksacks ,fleece gloves sleeping bags and thermal liner in our trek as complimentary..every day our oxygen level was checked with pulse oxymeter to ensure we were fit enough to do the high altitude trekking...and our guides were well experienced in tackling any emergency on our way ....at any time...they carried medicines and oxygen was available if emergency arised...would recommend others to do trek with them...

I along with my friend participated in Sandakphu Phulat trekking during 03.04.2021 to 09.04.2021. I am a 62 yrs old lady having some experience in trekking. Himalayan high had faith in us and admitted us. All along Mr.Suman guided us for the preparation. Mr Raju was our trek leader cum guide and another guide was Mr Vijay. Both were very efficient and supportive. Mr Raju was capable of handling the emergency situations as we witnessed. Accomodation and food was good. We had a good time as the other trekkers were very supportive and sportive.

Had an amazing trek experience with Himalayan High! Everything was impeccably organized by our Trek Guide-Rajuda, starting from the transportation to trek gear to our stay and food! He managed our group of 5 throughout the Sandakphu-Phalut trek, and ensured we get the best trek experience! Our homestays were located in quiet and remote locations, providing us with the much needed Himalayan solace away from the otherwise loud and noisy crowd that throng the route/usual homestays. Rajuda made sure we wake up on time and stay on track, and as a result we didn't miss a single view--be it the Sleeping Buddha from Tumling to Ahal or being the only people at the Phalut summit with the majestic views of Mt. Everest and it's neighbors! He also made sure we all did well physically, checking our temperature and O2 levels everyday! I had been on Sandakphu Phalut trek with Himalayan High with my family (wife and 2 daughters aged 9 and 13). This was fantastic experience! The guide was knowledgeable. The arrangements good and the itinerary was well planned. I would definitely continue with Himalayan high for next expedition as well.
I went to the Sandakphu - Phalut trek with them last Feb, writing the review really late. Well, I guess.. better late than never. Laden with expectations and excitement myself and my close friend joined them in Maaneybhanjang, the starting point. From there our group of 7 was led by Raju, the guide. Booking and documentation formalities were taken care of by Suman, well before we had arrived. I have been on numerous treks before, but this was my best trekking experience undoubtedly. Not just because of the beauty of the route, but the way the entire itinerary was managed. Starting from fooding, lodging, guidance upto situational flexibility of the guide, they had it all, the best that I could get at that price range. Most importantly, unlike other bigger trekking companies out there, Himalayan High team is of adjusting nature, they don't boss around schooling the trekkers, with 'dont do that' and 'dont go there' type rants. Ultimately trekkers come on such trips to get a momentary respite from the mundane city life. My experience has been a truly fulfilling one. I am looking forward to another trek with Himalayan High soon. I am sure the company will grow keeping the present values and customer centricity intact in future too.

First of all, u will find many tour operators in sankri range for kedarkantha trek but the way they provide u the hospitality and tourism is simply awesome...
I will start with the bookings, as we were in the group of four, we earlier decided to do the trek in DIY style, so I contacted Mr Suman regarding rental equipments but came to know some things which makes this trek a bit non DIY types due to some weather conditions. Later decided to do it under guidance and facilities...
It was a good decision as they maintained the rawness of the trek by some things that we did on our own. The reporting person at the lounge in sankri Mr. Himanshu is one of the most coolest person I have ever met during the treks. We had a great conversation and as a trekkers got to know some of the interesting facts about the sankri region and got my myths of diamox busted...
Guide Mr. Pradip was a nice person to trek with l, although we had some arguments about things but Mr Himanshu handled them well from the lounge over the walkie talkie due to which we made it to the summit in the very worst weather conditions.
Conclusion: Just go with them without any thoughts, they will make ur trek memorable and adventurous. U can take an idea simply of there services by this, as I have already planned a kedarkantha har ki dun round trek with these people in coming October.

Firstly pricing of this trek was competitive.
Days of the trek were optimum.
Gears like trek pole, poncho, rucksack, gloves were complimentary on this trek which turned to be of utmost use and comfort.
The meals on the entire trek were delicious given the altitude and cooking conditions in chilly temperatures. Stays in tea houses was a added benefit since sleeping in tents in such cold wind blowing plains or peaks would have been an issue. The trek leader Raju was a charm. His stories and motivation kept me going. There was not a patch where he left any trekker out of sight. Anything we ask for was arranged. Of course within the range of such place. Overall the trek co. is great and would like to join then for another new trek or peak to explore. Thanks Himalayan High for making my Solo Trek worth the memories.
When I go for treks I make up my mind I'll not get proper food and good toilet facilities but this agency changed my mind. Also, the people are quite friendly and most helpful. The weather for time being changed our plans but these people made sure that we complete what we came for and helped us reach the summit.

In my Sundakphu Phalut trek, I had an amazing experience with Himalayan high. I went alone with the team, and everything was so well organized. And our guide Raju bhai, he's such a sweetheart, he helped us a lot. So glad to be a part of such beautiful experience.
Himalayan High is a highly professional and dedicated team working towards organizing and leading treks. I was provided with ample support, pre and post booking the trek. The briefing sessions before the treks were thorough and detailed, staff was super friendly and adjusting, homestays and tents were very cosy, food was extremely delicious even during the trek, safety measures were taken care of and the trek manager and leader were fairly experienced. Cherry on top was the barbecue on the last day. If in future I book a trek from a trekking company, it is going to be Himalayan High.
Awesome experience with Himalayan High. The staff was very professional and welcoming. Lodge in Sankri is very comfortable, food provided both in base and on trek was amazing, tasty and nutritious. Everything was well planned and the plan was perfectly executed. They provided support long before the actual booking and stayed in touch for the whole time answering every possible question. Loved the fact that they are serious about trekking, don't organize parties and take rather smaller groups so its a perfect choice for someone who is keen to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature. They pay attention to the environmental protection as well and make sure that the trekkers do not leave any trash behind and do not cause any damage. I have booked hard-core Kedarkantha trek with Himalayan High and it was a fabulous experience. They provided us complementary tools/gadgets needed for the trek and food was too good. At first, I would like to thank Mr. Suman Chowdhury for encouraging me & my husband to take on this Sandakphu Phalut trek (26th December 2020 to 1st January 2021) in this pandemic situation... If I wouldn't have gone, I would have missed the mesmerising heavenly beauty of the Himalayas...the Everest Range, the Kanchanjangha Range - that is the Sleeping Buddha... The weather was at it's best & the Himalayan Range was clearly visible throughout our trek... As for me it was like dream come true...
..I returned home with beautiful memories to cherish throughout my life... be it watching spellbound the rising Sun or the setting Sun... It's rays setting the Himalayan peaks ablaze... at Tumling, Sandakphu & Phalut
Or ... 31stDec.'20 on the New Year Eve a camp fire was arranged by our trek leader at Gorkey also on 1stJan.'21 we celebrated New Year at Sepi...all of us enjoyed a lot.
Moreover, our trek leader & guides took utmost care of one and all and made every possible arrangements for making the trek comfortable and safe. Food was fresh & hygienic and equipments were also good.
I was also fortunate to have great team members. Though they were very much younger than me ... almost of my daughter's age, still I was very much at ease in their company. They made sure that I & my husband don't face any problem during the trek.
Finally, I must thank our trek leader and guide Pradeep and Dawa as well as Ramda, who were always ready to help whenever anyone was in need... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to them.... & ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to my team members too😃😃

I had done Sandakphu Phalut trek with Himalayan High in December 2020 and they provided a very good service. The trek leader was really helpful and professional and the overall experience was amazing. Would love to plan my future treks with Himalayan High again :)

This was my fourth trek overall, first one with Himalayan high team. In short it was a great experience. I had previous ill experiences with other organizations, Himalayan high sorted most of them. Special mention for our trek lead Pradeep, a very friendly at the same time professional person. A small but optional suggestion to the team - please filter out participants in a proposed trekking group who doesn't have teamwork mentality (I know this is not always possible, hence the term 'optional'). I am not going to write much about the place and journey because the place is too beautiful and its difficult to describe in words.
Suman: This was my first himalyan trek and being a non experienced person, suman has answered all my silly questions with patience. Heads of to him and his team for organizing this trek only for two people.i have never seen any organizations doing that.
Himanshu:He is one of the great guy I met on this journey.he explained everything so clearly about trek, trekking gears,how to acclimatize during the trek.best part is that the way he will take status of your health and trek from walkie talkie you will feel like you are at home.
Aadesh:He served us with hot and yummy food during the whole trek.i will never forget the taste of gulab jamun and baigan ka bharta at base camp.
Surender: he has helped us at every step during our trek.thanks to him for bearing with our slow speed because of him we were able to complete this trek without falling on frozen snow.
My big yes to himalyan high and Surely I am going to have my second trek with them.

On february 15th 2020 we (15) people from Kerala was joined with H H. It was a nice welcome from their side. The brief introduction about the trekking is very useful to all of us. Throughout the trekking 4 days their food, accommodation are good and instructions are very useful to all of us. Thanks to Himanshu, Pradeep, Praveen and Jogy (the superman) and the kitchen staffs also.

lucky having him as trek leader.... food is great during whole the trip, except there was difficulty in using toilets , no toilet seats provided. rest everything is great , including accomadation at sankri.
It was an amazing experience. The team has encouraged through out the trip and motivated each and everyone when ever few trekkers have given up during the trek. I would suggest Himalayan high for any kind of trek as they have the best guides and team leaders.

We opted for Sandakphu-Phalut trek from Himalayan High and thoroughly enjoyed it. Himanshu, Raju and Ram were thorough gentlemen, extremely professional and helpful. The trek was very well organized and executed. Despite the extreme weather during the season, every effort was done to make our trek and stay comfortable and enjoyable. They arranged for most of our sudden needs and requests.
I am glad we picked them for our trek because a trek like this in peak winter is not easy. We could easily compare with other trek companies that came along on the same route. Ram da can show up anywhere in a minute! Raju bhai even obliged my request for a song on the way to keep company:). He even helped my friend carry a bag, which I must say most people won't do. When some of us wanted to quit after day 1, Himanshu gently motivated us to keep going and finish the trek; and eventually we all did! Himanshu is very well informed, very calm in all situations and has a great attitude. Great job HH!!
Himanshu led the trek with high degree of professionalism and knowledge. Both the guides Raju and ram were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall it’s a wonderful experience with a lot of memories to carry forward. Would highly recommend HH to the world of trekkers.

Sandakphu trek was amazing, great guides who speak Hindi , English and the native language was really helpful. Really friendly people by nature and so patient. The homestays really served good and honest food and helped with all the needs. All the things are available on rent from the base location.... So no need to sweat on it.... They never left anyone behind and always pushed out gang to reach the destination.... GRT JOB GUYS
Sandakphu and Phalut Trek - An intense experience.. What is normally considered an easy trek in summer turned out to be moderately challenging for beginners like me in the first week of February. Team Himalayan High simplified many things allowing me to focus just on the trail and enjoy the ever changing landscapes. The homestays and meals were very authentic and we indeed developed great rapport with the highlanders living in these great mountains. The gear they provided was very effective. The local guides, Raju and Ramu bhai were the most hospitable and considerate locals coming from Maneybhanjang where we started our trek. A special thanks to Himanshu and team for keeping us on the move. It was very humbling that our entire team of 19 was felicitared with the traditional shawl with the local mantras written on it, <Auṃ maṇi padme hūṃ>, at the end of our trek in Sepi. You don't often find a trekking company which is less commercial and gives more emphasis to the individual experience and team bonding. I wish Himalayan high all the very best. Looking forward to reach higher summits in the future.

Our big trekking family of 23 people with 19 trekkers ,one trek leader Mr Himanshu Gupta who is always so patience enough to listen to all of us and encourage us throughout the way, the man behind the scenes who helped us complete this trek beautifully. Mr Suman who not only was responsive all the time but provided his best itinerary to my options available , our super excited and always happy to help guides Raju da and Ram da have given us an experience which can never be forgotten..
From the very first day when I started coordinating about the Sandhakphu Phalut trek with Suman he has been super helpful like his very own to provide details about each and every minute details which would be required even if I missed out on any ,.
Talking about the facilities coordinated-
From the first day of our pickup from bagdogra to reaching campsite Manebhanjan and back from sepi to Darjeeling( our itinerary we were going to Darjeeling) and from there to back bagdogra was a smooth experience with the vehicles provided, not a delay in any way..
talking about the trek-
Briefing sessions were the best which was given to us by Mr Himanshu and Raju da as they would explain in detail on the routes and not trying to scare the few new first time trekkers which we had in our group instead encourage them to overcome their fears ..
my personal experience coordinating with the group and the trek leaders was smooth as Himanshu was so understanding so calm and accommodating with all the medical facilities in every situation that my group came across ...
we came across situations when few of them struggled at few points but the guides and our leader did not leave our way or show any sign of discouragement, instead pushed us by entertaining us with so many beautiful stories of their own and motivated through ahead.
Each campsite was very well equipped and comfortable , the food facilities was great with different dishes being served all the time with love. This was one of my dream places to see the highest peaks of the world and all of the HIMALAYAN HIGH has made it memorable for me in an unexplainable way👍 Thank you from my bottom of my heart to this great team of such knowledgable, fit from every way team.
The trek to phalut was way beyond for me to write here, it’s something one needs to feel and for that you need to experience it yourself and if you want to feel that trek with HIMALAYAN HIGH who will not only make your journey memorable but also fill you with courage to overcome difficult things. We choose 2nd Feb to 6th Feb 2020 for kedarkantha trek with himalayan high. I am very much satisfied with the services provided by them in that kind of extreme condition . They always provided us hygenic and tasty food without repeating the menu. Not only that they were very much careful about each and every trekker of the group. As i am a 54year old lady with knee problems. Our guide Praveen gave extra attention to me. Now I am missing the warm accompany of the full team of himalayan high.

It has been a splendid experience with a strong command of Himalayan High. The Trek Leader - *Himanshu Gupta* was very experienced and able. I do also appreciate the calmness he maintains even at tough times. The hospitality and the arrangements on the trek was quick and excellent. It was an amazing experience which will be remembered through out.
Talking about the Trek right from the Pickup vehicle to arrangements in homestay to dropoff everything was perfect. I would like to thank Himanshu Gupta (Trek Leader), Raju Bhai & Ram Bhai (Local guides), Yogendra, Pranay and GyaanChand (Pickup and dropoff guys) and all the Homestay people. We were lucky to see clear views of Sleeping Buddha, Everest, Makalu & Lhotse Range. I loved the Jungle Trail around the Singalila National Park, Glorious Sunrises and Sunsets at Tumling, Molley, Sandakphu and Phalut. I would also like to mention this as it is most important part that we were the only people who went to Phalut View Point where other organizations who were on Trek in parallel with us have skipped Phalut View Point. This was the most luxurious trek of all I have done out of the Treks I have been through. :D
The food, services, equipments everything was great. Himanshu was a fun and very knowledgeable person to talk to, trekking while listening to his trek stories and experiences made the walk easy and have inspired a lot to do more. Raju Bhai had his own witty stories and is a knowledgeable guy. Along with Himanshu, Raju and Ram Bhai have always ensured that all 19 people were on right path and helped plethora times whenever someone required a helping hand during Trek and also in inspiring them.
P.S. --> Raju Bhai is a great Nepali singer as well. He has sung various Nepali songs during the Trek with us and appreciate his patience in helping us understand the lyrics.
If someone would be a Tea Lover, you might want to try a cup of Tea at Phalut which was the best tea ever served. ;)

I trekked kedarkantha with my parents aged 57 and 54 and am very satisfied with their warm hospitality and care. The accommodation and food were just perfect for the weather. The trek guide( Praveen ji) has attended to each and every trekker with equal warmth. On the summit day when the trail was very steep, he took another assistant with him so that every trekker receives proper attention. After completing the summit we were treated with a hot and tasty lunch and the we were also treated with a cake on the last day. And lastly I would like to thank the base manager (pradeep da) for making this trek a memorable one.
For long I have been planning to go out for a trek with friends and was really glad when I saw this amazing trek. Really happy after completion, no other trek can beat this. HH staff is so good,specially our guide PRAVEEN ,our cook Ramesh and another person Adesh. These guys are amazing, they care so much and it feels different from other group. Food was delicious 😋. Very polite people. Really recommend HH team .
We did Har ki dun family trek with Himalayan high in September 2019. From begining the service and communication were top notch. There are many trekking companies nowadays but we chose Himalayan high just because of their max limit on number of trekkers in one group.
Our Trek leader Pravin bhai was a cool and wonderful guy. Being locally from the same region, he knew many best places, routes and details of flora and fauna of the region which he explained to us very well. The caring attitude, the food quality provided during trek and helpful nature of all the team members made the trek memorable and made us fans of Himalayan high.
We would easily suggest Himalayan high over any other branded trek operator. Though for me, all the points were in +, I must also write a suggestion here. If the company and work on realistic prices for extras such as mules, it would leave no room for suggestions.
I wish them all the best and would definitely go with Himalayan high again and again!!

Went for a kedarkantha trek in December. People in my group didn't turn up, so they patched me up with another group which turned out to be great. The rental gear is of great quality. Kudos to the team.

We went for Har Ki Dun Trek, and it was good. It was our first snow trek, so we felt nice. Although we couldn't finish till summit, how much ever distance we completed, we felt it was worth a try! Everyone over at Himalayan high are extremely professional and kind enough to answer your queries every time. A big thanks to Suman and Himanshu for everything that they're doing to get the trek right.
Also, since the number of trekkers in the group were less, we could establish bond with everyone easily and it was great!
I completed Kedarkantha trek with my friend Vinayak between 1st Dec and 5th Dec 2019. The experience was really amazing. Himalayan High arranged the entire trek very professionally. Trek Manager Himanshu,Trek leader Pradip, Pravin , supporting staff Ramesh were really good. They took every effort to make the trek a very enjoyable and memorable.
I strongly recommend this company as I liked their policy of environment friendly trekking with focus on small group sizes. Due to small group size we got personal bonds with the crew and locals helping us there.

We took the service from Himalayan High for the first time for our first trekking trip in India- Stok Kangri. We are well taken care of especially when I was hit with altitude sickness where my blood oxygen saturation dropped at below 40. Our trekking leader Himanshu is very knowledgeable in handling my situation. The whole group given up the summit due to my problem. We will come back and join Himalayan High for our second attempt to Stok Kangri soon.
This was my 1st time experience with Himalayan High.. I was on Sandakphu Trek.. Their service and hospitality was really good.. Home stays and foods what ware provided during trek, it was absolutely superb 👌

We have given a detailed feedback to Pradip before concluding the trek. However, please find below my feedback.....
- Overall good arrangements, very friendly & knowledgeable Trek Leader (Pradip) & Guide (Raju)
- Trek was well planned, your people took care of our requirements.
- Nice stay locations.
- Good food throughout the trek.
- Hygiene level at Kalapokhri could have been better (specially kitchen)
- Hygiene level of Kitchen and dining area was worst at Sandakphu.
- Toilet in Sandakphu was worst. It was told that it is dry toilet. But there was no sand / dust available there.
- Best hygiene were at our lunch place in Meghma, homestay in Molley and Gorkhey. Please ask them to keep it up.
- If you plan the stay at Sabargram instead of Molley then it will be even better. Sunrise view from Sabargram is best but Molley doesn't have any view.
- Raju has a very good understanding of the area, he is very jolly & helpful. Please ask him to keep it up.
- Pradip understands the subject but he need to understand the area and routes better.

I can not compare to other operators but:
- the most helpful + friendly staff in preperation and during the trek you can expect
- tents, sleeping bags were top quality
- packages to customize the trip (bagagge offloading etc.)
- and last but certainly not least: they do the sandakphu trek INCLUDING mount phalut - which is highly recommended!
My partner and I climbed Stok Kangri (6,000m) in August-September of 2018 with Himalayan High, and we had a fantastic experience with them.
The trek was well organised logistically; we had no issues with the food, supplies, transport, and so on. All support staff were always very willing to help us whenever asked and we felt very secure in their care.
The actual trek was difficult but not impossible, and we felt Himalayan High represented the difficulty level well to us (e.g. they did not tell us it was easier than it was just to get our booking).
On the trek, our guides seemed very technically proficient, careful where appropriate, and were constantly motivating and reassuring; looking back on the experience, having had both my feet get soaked on the glacier, Himanshu in particular struck a good balance between making sure I was okay and comfortable, and keeping me moving forward (both to warm my toes but also to make sure I got the climb experience I was after). His judgement calls were solid and obviously informed by lots of experience.
Bonus points to Himanshu for not complaining once about his own feet being soaked, which we only found out after!
The summit experience was as rewarding as it could be given our exhaustion (i.e. very rewarding but we were buggered!) and I couldn't be happier with our trek plan, acclimatisation schedule, and the scenery along the way.
Every single staff member on the trek was pleasant and great conversation - to the extent they knew English, obviously our trek leader HImanshu best of all - and we felt able to talk to them and learn about them. I already loved Indian people and culture from my past visits but this was another shining example.
So thank you to all at HImalayan High, particularly Himanshu and Stanzin who we spent the most time with, and we look forward to seeing you again some day!

Har Ki Dun was a lovely trek thanks to the calm and caring leading of the mountain leader Himanshu and the great loyalty of the staff. I met nice people and made new friendships there. It was really comfortable and surely safe way to walk in Himalayas. I hope to see you again Himalayan High team!

Amazing to start with. Nice clear blue skies, gradual ascent and descent with constant roar of the river passing through out the trek duration.
Pleasant climate during the day and chilling at night.

The arrangements by Himalayan High was great, right from tents to Guides and the Cook. A special mention of the food arrangements with different menu every day right from breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner. Every evening sweet dish which one might not expect but we were all delighted to have.
Overall a Very Big Thank you to entire Team starting from Suman in assisting to my various queries, Himanshu at the base camp, Rakesh and Abhinandan our guides and last and most important the Cook Ram Singh for the food. It was a wonderful experience for me as well as my friends.

It was my second visit to the highest point of West Bengal at 3636m. Very well organised by Himalayan High. Our trek guide Raju was very friendly and very accommodating to our needs although not compromising on the health and safety issues. He very nicely paced the trek based on the team members ensuring we made it to our goal. Team Member included a 12 year old, a 16 year old and a 49 year old. Having such an age gap the challenges would have been immense for the guide but he bore with us with a smiling face. The night halts were very comfortable. We were always provided with Hot Meals irrespective of the time of the day. Would really recommend all to take on treks organised by Himalayan High
Sandakphu Trek is the best trek i had been so far. The view and the people are so nice and it is really suitable for beginners who had zero experience. Besides, the guides( Mr. Raju and Mr. Ashish) are the best guide i have encountered so far. They were so professional and they made this trek looks more like a family. We enjoyed a lot because of them. If anyone is really interested with this track i would really suggest you to take this package as it's price is reasonable. I would really hope to come again next time. :D
My family trek "Har ki Dun" with Himalayan High was great experience.
Specialy my kids, Soham age 11 and Aarav age 8 enjoyed a lot. Hemanshu, our team leader was very friendly n kids loved to walk with him.
All staff members were very kind and cooperative.
The cook, Ram kumar did great job at all base camps. He Always served us with full n delicious meals. N setisfied my kids demands also.
The best was gulam jambun, it was too yummy.
Special thanks to the Team, as at high altitude, at law temperatures, different camps, too much of walking n many other challenges......my kids felt were comfortable n safe.Every morning they were very enthusiastic. We had a great time.

As pointed out by everyone, they are best known for their food and en route services. But one important thing that i would like to point out about them is the extra ordinary enthusiasm they show to help you do the summit even in the harshest situations, and ofcourse with proper safety guaranteed. Blindly opt for them to experience a different and memorable trek.

It was an awesome experience. Weather was too good. Everything was there —- from snowfall to mesmerising views of Himalayan peaks and of course rhododendron. And the arrangements by Himalayan High was superb. Especially I must say about our guide Raju. He was a very nice and caring person. He looked over our almost every need. From where should I start
I was totally unaware of himalayn high before my kedarkantha trek.
I got suman's number while I was searching the rental for trekking gears.
And the whole story changed afterwards. .
We wanted the trek to finished in 3 days and he was the one who suggested us to extend it for one day so that we can enjoy the nature.
He also customized the trek for us.
I want to mention some highlights of himalayn high
Professionalism -
They are highly professional and by professional I mean if they have promised that you will do the summit despite of bad waether, they will make sure of everything that you reach the summit
On the summit day we were accompanied by 5 members from them who were looking after everything you can imagine.
Vivian sir along with one more member came right from sankri to assist us to reach the summit.
Everyday the briefing was given and they were very stringent about the rules and regulations.
A proper tent and trek rules were maintained throughout the journey.
Hospitality -
Previously we did sandakphu trek on our own and we were very keen on doing this trek on ourselves but man o man, glad that we booked through himalayan high.
I will start with the warm welcome they gave us upon reaching sankri.
We were dead tired from the journey from dehradun (They provided us the transport also and the car reached the station before us, this adds up. to their professionalism )
but after reaching sankri our happiness was on different level.
rooms were very cozy and they served us with snacks and tea. (I will come to food in my next point )
In sankri we got proper rooms with ample blankets.
Tents on the mountain were clean and they took care of every need of ours in the mountains.
I had a severe cramp in my right leg, at juda ka talab base camp and rakesh bhaiya (Our trek leader) gave me a quick massage to get over it along with ORS which helped me a lot in my recovery .
He kept on asking me in the night also if I was good to go.
This love from a totally unknown person, I will never forget.
Food-
Ah! I still miss the gulab jamun our cook made on KBC. Trust me he made those gulab jamun at 10000+ft
Sometimes I had to skip food sessions as I was eating a lot, That is the kind of food service you can expect
And what not they were able to make in mountains
We got pancakes, gulab jamun, awesome khichdi and many more
I believe everyday I was eating for 4 times apart from tea +snacks
On the summit day we were given early breakfast along with chocolates and eggs to carry.
Cost-
We did the whole trek under 5.5k which includes food and lodging from sankri to sankri
And in that gaiters and micorspikes are included.
I rented some gears for three days and that costed me around 500 for the whole journey
Trust me it the cheapest option we got
And they were also able to manage the gears at the very last moment as we didn't inform them earlier (Always try to book gears before hand).
So at last for the kind of hospitality and the memories I would definitely recommend HIMALAYAN HIGH to anyone who is planning to do the trek.
Trust me you will not regret.

5* is a low rating for these guys. I did Kedarkantha with these guys and they are amazing.
I taught of booking my trek with India hikes as I have already did couple of treks with them, then a friend my mine(Jay) told me about Himalayan high and their amazing service. So I wanted to try and booked kedarkantha trek with these guys.
Right from day 1 in Sankri till the last day they took care of us personally, they gave us double mattresses in the camps, they provided all the basic necessities like micro spikes and liners for free. The food was the best thing in the entire trek starting with panner to gulabjamun everything was mental. They served Gulabjamun in the base camp and much respect for that 👏👏
We were a batch of 8 ppl for the trek and on summit day we were accompanied by 5 guides, just by this we can gauge their quality

We had a great experience with Himalayan high. Special thanks to the fantastic guys Vivian , Lapu and Shapak. Their patience with naive trekkers like us was amazing. Every small details were been taken care of. Vivian, checking of our gears before starting of the trek and suggesting changes saved us from the chilly winters during the trek and made it more comfortable.
Can't thank enough the porters and the cooks. They were like the pillars of the entire trek. The cook made sure we all are well fed and cooked a variety of dishes just to keep us feel interested and healthy. The kind gesture of baking a cake on the end of trek really touched our hearts. It was just something out of the blue.
Thanks HH for helping me to build up the confidence that I can do it. Looking forward to conduct more treks with you in future.

We successfully completed our trek and full credit to the Himalayan High crew for their perfect planning, briefing and flawless arrangements - right from our arrival at Leh, superb Hotel accommodation, meal planning through out the trip, personalized attention to all the members, focus on safety, quality of gears provided and the list goes on...
Full marks to Suman, Vivian, Lapu, Shapak for their hospitality and ensuring the safety along with successful completion of our trip - able to go to Nerak was a rare instance in the given days as many other groups had to come back.
Ours was also couple trek (3 couples) and life's first trek for the 3 Ladies.
Pleasant surprises on trek - home stay at Nerak was the most impressive part of the plan; meal menu planning to ensure that we are well fed (so much so that we hardly lost weight 😀😀; a cake baked on the last night to celebrate completion - just unimaginable !

It would not have been possible without your precise guidance and expertise to handle heterogeneous group including seasoned trekkers to naive ones; I was one of the latter.
Right from our arrival to Leh, assistance was provided for accommodation, acclimatisation and our trekking gears were personally inspected by Vivian and vital suggestions were given.During our trek, we realised that not following those suggestions would have jeopardised our safety.
Kudos to all the porters, especially Shapak and Lamu for their chivalry.Even if it is all girls trip, these guys would go any length to ensure our well-being.
During the trek, piping hot nutritious food was provided.We still wonder how the porters managed to prepare lip smacking meals in sub zero temperatures.An icing

It was great experience with himalayan high team. They have best crew than any trekking company. They are very friendly and cooperative. So i suggest everyone to do trek with them.
These guys are amazing. They are very professional, friendly and ambitious too. It was my first trek and I went to kedarkantha with them. Despite harsh weather conditions we were the first team to reach the summit beating all the other competitiors like Indiahikes and renok. What's special about himalayan high is they are so friendly that they won't let you feel like you are under guidance of any strangers. What's different is they provide very high quality tents and equipments as compared to other companies. They serve the tastiest food you'll get in the mountains with a good variety for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. They give equipments on rent which are good in quality and cheap too. Basically my reason for going with them is they don't delegate anything. They own the homestay at the Sankri and no outsourcing is done which ensures efficiency from their side. Overall I would suggest Himalayan High to every trekker because it is a new and better company as conpared to others which takes consolidated groups to treks and this helps in having a once in lifetime kind of experience.

Himalayan high provides highest standards in service and ensures that every trekker is safe. They provided essential gear free of charge and made the trek of kedarkantha most memorable. They kept the group size low and organized everything nicely. Seeing the situation of trekkers with some other companies we felt really lucky. TTH took their group upto summit direct from juda base camp, ignoring the need for rest and acclimatization. As a result most trekkers returned without summit. If you want exceptional service just go with them.

Himalayan high has given me a good trek experience. Their ground staff , cooks , guides and entire team was supportive and humble . In extreme temperatures they did their best to serve us well .. They are not so popular in trekking community , but the service and hospitality is good. Also they have a huge variety of treks to offer in off beat regions which aren't so popular.
Brilliant experience, especially the trek guides Rana n Guddu were superb company.. the food taste n quality at such high peaks were something to be appreciated off. Overall, superb.!!
This has to be one of the best experience of my life so far. The place is amazing. The person managing the place in Sankri, Himanshu, is very helpful. It's a flexible organisation and they will make sure you have a very pleasant experience. They have homestay about half a kilometre from the Sankri market. The rooms are cozy and clean but you have share it with other trekkers. My trek guide ,mr. Praveen is an amazing person he'll have lots of stories to tell and takes amazing pictures. The food was good, although the drinking water quality has to improve, else it can take you down even before you start the trek. Overall the experience was great and I would love to go to the mountains with them again!
Camp and food provided by them are far better than others. Guides are good and friendly.

Did the 12th January kedarkantha trek with Himalayan High. The trek leaders were amazing, the best in the business probably. The camp sites were spacious and located at unique places away from other camps, like the prime places are held by himalayan High. The food and the amenities provided at that altitude were mind-blowing. Also they have staff who reside permanently at juda and base. Would love to do my future treks with himalayan high.
Kedarkantha Winter trek was my first winter trek and honestly i was not ready for it, and all day long snowfall during our return from summit to Hargaon made it a bit more challenging and adventurous. But, the hospitality at each camp site was just amazing along with the guides, we changed our plan a bit to save one day, and they tried their level best to accommodate that change. Overall it was a good experience with Himalayan High.
I have trekked with a few other trekking groups. They are the popular ones and provide standard amenities and services.
With Himalayan High there is personal touch. Their coordinators, trek leads and kitchen staff are extremely humble and polite.
I had such a great time, their genorosity and warmth kept us going at -15° temperature
The staff were very supporting & they guided us in the best way they could & when it comes to food, it was served perfectly for the current weather there. Cant forget the cake they prepared for Christmas & New Year's Eve, it was very appreciable!! They have an amazing and a very friendly team:)

Great experience on Sandakphu Phalut trek. Trek leader was super cool and supportive and local guide was very knowledgeable. Their repo with locals of the trek was really good and hence making our trekkers travel, food and stay easy ans smooth. Would recommend Himalayan High to others as well.
Winter in Himalaya with sub-zero temperature and snowfall!! Sounds interesting? Now add 15km of trekking on an average, everyday, for six days. Also, natural water sources are frozen. To top it all, what if one is an inexperienced solo traveller? What if one is met with some emergencies? Then reliability, experience and passion for work is what you seek in a trek operator.
A short conversation with Suman Chowdhury from HH before I joined this trek was crisp and practical.
My first trek to Sandakphu-Phalut(6th Jan,2019) with Team Himalayan High went great not only because I met like minded people in team Himalayan, but also the no-nosense approach they follow.
Pros:

2. Experienced team leader and guide.
3. You get the best food 'possible' at any given time.
4. Personal interactions between trekkers, team leaders and guides here create a whole world of difference.

To start with, I will strongly recommend Himalayan High
Positives:
1. The price at they offer the services are quite low compared to others
2. The quality of rent equipments were great.
3. The food they served was tasty and hygienic. We were served with hot pantua (Gulab Jamun) at Kedarkantha Base camp at a freezing temp of -10 degrees. The team also made a beautiful cake to celebrate our summit while it was snowing outside.
4. Special mention to the camp leaders Rakesh, Samrat and Jagdish at Juda, Base camp and Hargaon. They were extremely helpful and motivating.
Negatives:
1. On day 1, we were supposed to leave Sankri at 10.00 am, but ultimately left at 12.30 hours, which was a bit unprofessional.
2. The guides during the trek was impatient and always hurried. Me and my sister walked slow, so our guide will always say, "jaldi karo" which was irritating and disappointing.
3. On the day of return there was no water at Sankri home stay.
Despite the little problems here and there I would again strongly recommend Himalayan High

I had a good experience. Only sore point, lack of water at Sankri due to pipe freezing. I understand temperature dipped sub-zero, but considering the conditions people incharge should be better prepared and planned the facilities to avoid such situations. Any trekkers would love to have hot water after a grueling Trek and that too in winter. Hope this point is addressed.

Food was really awsome and never expect that kind of food on the trek and specially the last day surprise element. Headsoff to their chef who made such a nice and brilliant cake.
All the staff members are very much cooperative that makes the trek more easy.
This was my first snow trek (Kedarkantha) and I chose to go with HH because they have mentioned information in detail on their website which means they believe in transparency and fair service. The food they served was at par with my expectations. Considering such extreme conditions during trek, you can't complain much. They did their best. Trek leader Manoj was very cooperative and Rakesh was very friendly and provided quite a lot of info. Appreciate the pain and efforts taken by Manoj where I had to literally pull myself up the meadow (below summit).
Its been an wonderful experience with himalayan high. They took the best care of us and ensured everyone reaches the sumit. Special kudos to the food which was provided considering the conditions. I would definitely recommend the trek to anyone with moderate fitness.

I did sandakphu phalut trek with Himalayan High, and this being my first trek was an amazing experience. I would actually recommend everyone to trek with Himalayan High, because they trek with small teams compared to other companies. Being a part of small team you get to interact with everyone quite closely and enjoy the experience. The trek leader and guide was super cool and very supportive. If you want to experience local culture, indulge in activities with local people and love to learn new things (like pitching and folding your tent, maintaining clean environment during the trek) then this trek with Himalayan High is for you. Overall, I had the best experience of my life with them.

First of all make your expectations right, the Himalayan High team is providing everything of necessity but if you seek luxury you will be disappointed, sandakfu trek was the best unplanned decision of my life thanks to the Himalayan High team. well guiding team leader, supportive guides, and friendly attitude. Before this trip i didn't know how to make my own bed, i still don't... But i know how to put up a tent. I just loved the experience.

Well it's a pretty good experience with Himalayan high.Well firstly we went for the snowy high altitude trek for the first time so they treated us well specially with the views,walks,foods and the homestays.
Their guides were very kind and experienced specially I have to mention a guide named John he is so helpful and kind that makes our trip so good.
The only thing that is not good you can say it's the walk distance 😄I know it's a trek but still sometimes it will look like a long for a certain period of time so be prepared for that.
We enjoyed the night walks the tent or camp experience,the evening soup sand the weather in the month of December,the sunset,sunrise,views of mount Everest range,kanchanjungha hill was damn good.
Now I would like to mention the trek head Ashish sir was good helpful and funny and enjoyable with whom u can't feel bore and his knowledge and exercises I can't forget and the group with whom I went they are full of energy and damn good so overall it was brilliant experience with them .
I did my first ever trek with Himalayan High and have no regrets about choosing them to help me with the Kedaikantha Trek! They have a pretty young and enthusiastic team which gets a thumbs up from me for their amazing tea and coffee break conversations at the base and at the camps. Plus they re a small group of professionals who talk to you and would meet and greet you on the ground so there is less chances of miscommunication.
I had the best times of my life, the prettiest sights and views I ve ever treated my eyes to, the most exhilarating feeling I ve ever felt and the trek itself was a very humbling experience. We started as a team of just two friends and HH was very glad to help us through the bookings, adjusting and customizing as and when we needed. In the end, after my friend pulled out of the trek due to health reasons, they still encouraged me and motivated me to go on and summit. They are very customer driven and the trek guide I had was a young, dynamic, bubbling with energy, ever smiling and happy to help one Mr. Rajesh and he does get a special mention because of these traits. I won't be wrong if I mentioned that his encouragement through every step when I was almost giving up, got me through to the summit and what a sight! What a feeling! I am glad he pushed me to complete the trek.
The food and support we received were great. I gave a 4 star rating because I felt they could improve:
1. Their website, ease of booking and organized information
2. They need to improve on the communication methods, as in... When we trekkers are in a place where we re cut off from the world due to absent signal, they are bound to get calls from worried families and it would be better if they gave real - time updates to them over phone when asked for.
3. Accommodation at Sankri and medical facilities offered at Sankri need improvement.
Why I mentioned these points is because, given the proactive team and their 'ready for constructive criticism' attitude will make me remove these points in no time. They have earned that trust from me. 😊
I did HH Sandakphu trek between 22nd Dec to 27th Dec. My first high altitude trek, HH did great job in organizing the whole trek, from guiding, motivating , taking good care of you while you are trek, Special Shout out to our guide Mr John (Surya) who being oldest member cum guide assisted with everything

This was my first trek. I am very much more than satisfied with the service provied by Himalayan High. They were simply awesome. Had there been more than five star rating I would have given them. I am just not boasting, but seriously Himalayan high is a superb trek organizer with proper and perfect planning.All the trek leaders are just not trekkers they are good motivators as well. They took care of us, guided us and helped us in believing ourselves during the summit climb. I would recommend Himalayan High for every Himalayan trek. The Kedarkantha trek was my first ever trek. I did not have any prior experience with Himalayan High. After completing the trek, I have only wonderful feedback to share. Of course, there's always some room for improvement, but overall, in such harsh (cold) conditions, you really can't ask for more.
We were welcomed and given a clear briefing on the day we arrived by Himanshu. He made sure that we packed light. We could even leave unnecessary stuff at the trekker's lodge and that was a big advantage. The power situation in Sankri is pretty bad, with power cuts almost every other hour. But the staff were so helpful in providing us whatever we needed, from hot water to timely and tasty breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks. And boy, were they tasty. Ensure you taste the pahadi (hill) red rice. The vegetables were delicious.
Manoj was to lead the trek on Day 1. He is an instantly affable person, extremely skilled in trekking, an expert skier, and doesn't hesitate providing excellent advice to keen trekking enthusiasts. I'll never forget the walking technique he taught me to avoid slipping and falling on those cold, slippery, snowy, himalayan slopes.
The camp staff on all the camps were extremely affectionate and helpful. And the food, even in such cold conditions, was amazingly tasty. I can never forget the Gazar ki halwa and gulab jamuns. I don't think I have ever had tastier and yummier gazar ki halwa than what we were treated to.
Although the camp staff were excellent, I should also say that the trekking group that I traveled with were amazing fun. I have had several friends warily tell me about the kind of fights that erupted, but this group in particular was such a fun loving group that towards the end, we felt sad parting ways.
The final summit ascent was led by the experienced mountaineer, Samrat. And boy, he meant business. At all costs, he wanted all of us to summit and see the sunrise. He planned so meticulously that he made sure that we arrived at the summit not too late, and not too early.
We completed the trek with such happy memories. We descended laughing, pulling each others legs, and even though there was no power for 14 hours straight at the Sankri camp, we just didn't mind. Manoj was hard at work providing us hot water from the boilers. That night, the moon was full, and the staff arranged a barbeque at an extra cost, of course. It was just perfect.
What I am really amazed at is the level of coordination they seem to have across all camps during the trek. Not a single dinner or lunch or breakfast was delayed. We never had to wait for our sleeping bags as we camped out in different camps every night. Everything was planned to perfection.
I am sure I'll return to Himalayan High for my next trek.
I can never forget the wonderful experience I had only because of Himalayan High. We were a group of 11 and not even a single complaint.
Obviously, going on treks in extreme weather brought many challenges. But, Himalayan high kind staff was a light at end of a tunnel for all of us. They listened to us, made us delightful food in extreme conditions. In a nutshell, they went above and beyond for us.

It was my 1st Trek with Himalyan high I really enjoyed the entire trek and would appreciate the effort of Entire team especially Rakesh bhaiya Rajesh bhaiya and mamaji . Trekking with you guys has been an awesome experience. It was my second snow trek. The day we reached sankri, it was very cold. The trek leader Himanshu sir astounded us by saying this is the coldest place of your trek. He explained each and everything very well.This was my first moderate snow trek and it was mind blowing. The mountain views and camp sites were mesmerizing .The best part was the team, the guides were really good and experienced and provided us with a lot of information ; had lots of informative chats with them and then didn't let the spirits go down when we had this steep slope to climb, It was fun
Went for Sandakphu Phalut trek with Himalayan High in Nov 18. Loved everything about the trek. While booking there was some issue from PayU money side but Suman replied immediately and assured the booking is done. From then he answered all the queries calmly. Talking about the trek right from the pickup vehicle to arrangements in homestay to dropoff everything was perfect. I would like to thank Ashish(Trek leader), Raju bhai(Local guide), Ashish(Horse man), Pranay and Vikas(Pickup and dropoff guys) and all the homestay people. We were lucky to see clear views of Sleeping Buddha, Everest range. I loved the jungle trail, glorious sunrises and sunsets. Also we were the only ppl who went to Phalut, other organizations skipped that. The view from Phalut top was wonderful. This was the most luxurious trek of all I have done :D
The food, services, equipments everything was great. Ashish was a fun person to talk to, trekking while listening to his trek stories made the walk easy. Raju bhai had his own witty stories and is a knowledgeable guy.

I did Sandakphu phalut trek with Himalayan high just a few days ago and it was the most humbling experience of my life. The best part about the organization is that they really care about the environment and evoke the same feeling amongst the trekkers. Furthermore they are also very flexible and customer driven. Even though there were only two of us in the group they put in all their efforts to ensure that we have a great time during the trek .The staff is very friendly and caring...they treat you like a family(They also are great storytellers which makes for a great tea break conversations :-P). The arrangements were top notch for the price range and the staff was well equipped for any uncertainties. Kudos to Himalayan high for bringing about a joyful and a hassle free experience .You guys are the true rockstar of the mountains. Looking forward to my next expedition with you all
It was our first trek with Himalayan High .We were a group of three and attempted the Stok Kangri Summit with them in October '18 .Had an overall very good experience with them .Suman handled and coordinated the trek very efficiently . Unfortunately the weather did not support us and we couldn't attempt the summit but apart from that we had no problem with them .The trek guides Jashodh and Gajendra ,support staff, equipment and most importantly food was very good.Would love to trek with them again in near future .Cheers !

We did Har ki dun trek with Himalayan High, it was a great experience. I highly recommend Himalayan High group among all available in that region. Himalayan High made sure that we get everything at the right time and right place, their knowledge about the region and tiny details made our trek very informative.
One of our member had sports shoes but they recommended and provided trekking shoes, that trekking shoes helped our friend to complete the trek without any injury.
Last but not the least they know about best arrangements, took care of our safety and arranged best trekking equipments.

We had lots of fun and for the 5 days of our trek we became like family. We were really taken very good care of and the food that Rana da cooked for us everyday was delicious and each day we were served new things. Both the trek leader and the guide we're very knowledgeable and they told us a lot about the villages on the way the culture and tradiotions they follow and a lot of other interesting facts which are the kind of things that trekkers might be interested in but no one really shared such stories. Amazing experience must try.
I did the dual Summit of Golep and Stok Kangri this past summer and wow, what an experience it was! Every single support staff were excellent. Great attitudes, mental toughness, and food. They also provide very safe equipment (harness, helmet, etc..)
They treat you like family, very reasonable with setup, and when my trekking partner was having trouble withdrawing money - they trusted him to pay once he was back in Delhi.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, safe trip trekking in the Himalayas. The one other thing I wanted to mention is that high altitude trekking is no joke - so be mentally prepared to train and accept the risk (the summit is only half way). Be safe and have fun!

We had an amazing experience trekking the Buran Ghati pass with Himalayan High group. Trek leader Himanshu and all the support staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel comfortable hiking through tough paths (or no paths), crossing fast flowing streams and boulders. Throughout the trek, Himanshu encouraged us and provided us with tips and tricks for hiking. The food was wholesome as well as awesome. Every meal was freshly cooked that included desserts and on the last day, a special cake to celebrate the successful completion of trek. A huge thanks to Himalayan High for giving us a lifetime experience in the Himalayas.
Amazing support shown by HH team when I had to turn back from base camp because of a family emergency. They arranged everything very well. And even before that all the preparation and support was excellent. Looking forward to completing a trek with HH Soon.

The best solo trek I have ever had. The guy Suman was awesome, I by chance had no money and I was looking for ATMs but no luck. He showed trust in me and asked me to send the money after I reach home. Food, staff and trip everything was awesome.
I had the Kedarkantha trek with Himalayan High in February, 2018 along with two of my friends. Not only was their service flawless in every aspect, they made us truely love and understand the mountains. i don't know how but they were able to cook up some masterful dishes even in the hardest of weathers. The team leaders and guides allotted to us were extremely inspirational and kept on motivating us to finish the trek. I truely am hoping I can plan another one of their treks soon!

The guides were really good and professional, provided a lot of information, and they didn't let the spirits go down especially during the time of summit also all the support staff was really helping and caring. In short planning, equipment’s, hospitality, safety measures all were to the mark.
One of the most important things you would want when you are venturing out of your comfort zone (Buran Ghati in our case) is a supportive and friendly bunch of people. The "gang" (trek lead, guide, all support staff) was just that. They took very good care of us while on the trek and I am not even talking about the delicious suji halwa,gajar halwa, rajma chawal, chole puri, lauki kofta kadhi etc. yet ! :), Not to forget the cake prepared to celebrate the successful trek completion..
Anand (trek lead) was very kind enough to share his trekking wisdom with us from his extensive experience. Always guiding us with tips and tricks to improve our game. That was a real value add which we can leverage on future treks. Bhajan (guide) liberally shared his Gyan of the local landscape. Kitchen and other staff was also very co-operative. What also worked was the small group size where everyone bonded with every other person quite well.
There was no hitch in the overall logistics planning and co-ordination, came to know from Anand that HH is a young company and I would strongly recommend them to anyone interested in trekking activities.

The time we spend there was amazing. i was feeling the every sec of my life. We lean lot from those people. Service thatu provided at that altitude was praiseworthy. Its purpose was not finish the trek , but finish the trek safely without taking any LSD or acclimatizition medicine. And you guys have worked on every small thing that should be needed for a trek i loved that and out trek leader Mr. Anand sir was also great . He know every singel trik or having broad knowledge of treking.They gave us a lot of encouragement, with a positive energy. I can not tell from the trek that I got to learn so much and would like to trek in further with Himalayan High.

Had an amazing experience with Himalayan High during the Rupin Pass Trek. Very hospitable with great food and hot drinks. The trek leader Himanshu was caring and motivating the trekkers all throughout the journey which boosted the whole trekkers morale. Route guide - Gajju was very influential in the smooth journey of the trek. All in all a must do trek with Himalayan High if u are a beginner doing an Himalayan trek.

Himalayan high arranged an excellent guides(The Gajju's) who took utmost care on each and every trekkers in our group.
Food was one of the highlights of the Trek, especially tea (thank u himanshu:D)).

We trekked to Kedarkantha summit through Himalayan High. Himalayan high is a professionally run team with dedicated trek leaders and guides. The team has all the required facilities like microspikes which proved to be a life saver for us in fresh snow. All the campsites are carefully and thoughtfully designed, food was good as well. Overall I recommend Himalayan High.
It was my first trek with Himalayan high to Har ki Doon... I can never forget my wonderful experience.. The staff is committed, patient, professional, down to earth and very helpful and kind.. The standouts:
-all staff and team took incredibly good care of us
-trek was beautiful and not yet too crowded for the season
-the gear was up to the demands of this Himalayan trek (sleeping bag was very warm, tents withstood rain snow and hail)
-delicious vegetarian plus egg food, three meals a day plus soup and other snacks
Things to know before you book/go, maybe especially for foreigners:
-the day/meal schedules are Indian. That means late dinner (as early as 730, as late as 9). Lunch was sometimes after hiking at camp at 2
-bring trail snacks! There are some "dhabas" (stands) the first and last day
-har ki dun campsite at the end has 2-3 groups in the shoulder season,probably more in peak season. Villages are all along the route. This is not a secluded Backcountry nature trek, but there is good solitude on the trail
-making it to jaundhar glacier is highly dependent on group speed, weather, departure time, etc. Try to go if you can,though, a highlight!
-rent a down jacket!
-trekkers lodge was a bit dingy,not as clean as it could've been
Co-operation and support level from entire team is just amazing throughout the trek..never expected a quality food at such a high altitude..overall its superb experience with Himalayan High..
When you get good Jain food even on the himalayas, the group ought to be the best! Incredible support, amazing staff!
We did the kedarkantha trek with himalayan high in Feb 2018. It was the most wonderful experience of my life which was only possible because of the Himalayan high. Everything was very well organused. Our trek leaders were very good especially this young girl Reena. Food, management , stay all of it was grt. Would definitely plan another trek with himalayan high soon

Friendly staff and good food. The rooms at base village are also good. They provided good tent and sleeping bag at kk base.
I cannot forget the Gajar Halava I got as surprise at kk base camp. They also give you a certificate of completion 😀

First trek for me and first trek with HH and what an amazing experience. Great set of guys always with a smile and willing to accommodate. To manage bit of our whims and fancy with short notice and making it happen is something exceptional attitude.

Trekking in the Himalayas is neither a sport nor a passion, its a full blown addiction.
We a group of five friends were keen on doing the Sandakpu-Phalut trek. It's the only place in the world from where you can see 'The Sleeping Buddha', formed by Mt.Kumbhakarana(head of Buddha together with nose and chin), Kanchendzong family of mountains form the body of Buddha while Mt. Pandim and Mt.Simvo form the feet.
We chose Himalayan High to organise the trek for us and trekking with them was a wonderful experience.
Suman, the lead guy cum owner had a fantastic knowledge of the mountains. He and his entire team were extremely accomodating even though we kept changing our route and plans like the Himalayan weather. The grub was par excellent with fair bit of delightful surprises thrown in. The entire team were very helpful and cooperative. We had a whale of a time.
Neither us nor Team HH are going to forget each other in a hurry.

awesome experience with this management system. people are nice, they help you when ever you need. the food and service they provide, i think it's best in this price. no one will provide you 4items in breakfast on the kedarkantha base camp, but Himalayan High does. They exceeded my expectations. The guide, cook they provide, are very nice people, they help you any time you need. I have already started missing them. If anyone want to do trek in himalayas, i must suggest Himalayan High. I am planning to do my next trek Har Ki Dun with Himalayan High.

I went to Kedarkantha trek in march. It was a awesome experience with Himalayan High. Everything was fantastic. I want to thank to each and everyone who was with us in our trek. Himanshu and Suman oraganizer after that who went with us in trek Mangal bhaiya, Gajendra bhaiya, Devilal bhaiya without u all, it was difficult to complete the trek. They supported us till the end. Only because of them I went till the summit, it was beautiful with full of snow.. After completion of trek my confidence also got increased.. Lets talk about food.. It was tasty and healthy..it was just like homemade food.. They served everything tea, milk, corns, fruits, soups, snacks, tasty lunch and dinner, hot water for drinking and for washing utensils as well.. It was beautiful memory sometime words are also less to describe.. And along with them I got good friends who were the part of my beautiful trek without them it was very difficult..all were very supportive and caring..I really miss those lovely days..at last Thank you Himalayan High..

Truly wonderful and beautiful location.. we went to Kedarkantha Trek on 1st week of March'18. There was lot of snow. We got to experience snow fall at the very 1st day at Juda ka Talab camp site. Tents and rooms provided were very clean.
Trust me food serve was really good. They serve different kind of food everyday. They will take every measure to keep your body temp hot in winters. Hot water everytime to drink and wash plates. They will give you everything on rental basis whatever you need.
All the rental items are also very good. Organiser Himanshu and Suman are also very nice.

They started our summit early morning before sunrise so that we get to see sunrise and temperature was also bearable. Compared to other organizers, they started summit trek late beacuse of which their experience was not that good because of high temp, sparkling sun they couldnt njoy the view we got.

We were a group of five - (one dropped out due to work compulsions) - three at fifty and two in thejr mid-forties, including three without previous experience in the Himalayas. Ours turned out to be a unique tailor made trek, for as we progressed, our plans kept changing. We found our trek leader, Suman, a very efficient organizer and extremely accommodative of our plans that changed like the mountain winds.
While the food was sumptuous and innovative, the attitude of the entire staff was outstanding and made our trek, replete with magnificent views, a very memorable one.
Thanks to the entire HH team for the experience. We hope to return soon for another.
I had the greatest experience on the Har Ki Dun Trek with Himalayan High, the valley itself is magnificent in beauty and with the guys from Himalayan High it made the whole experience incredible. The local guides provided so much moral support even though I didn't speak the same language! The food was delicious, even in a heavy blizzard at the Har Ki Dun campsite they provided us with warm delicious meals and made us feel safe and confident with the situation we were in. I'm so happy I chose this trek with this company as it was the best I have ever experienced, I have returned to the UK with a wonderful feeling in my mind and soul. I will definitely be choosing another trek with Himalayan High again in the future and returning to the almighty beauty of the Himalayas!
I went on a Trekking Trip to Har Ki Dun with Himalayan High on March 11th 2018. Let me first Thank you guys for the awesome overall experience. All the information about the trek was well communicated and they also helped us in trek preparation. Think you need a break from your hectic life/ from this concrete jungle, take this trek. I would like to call it as "Times of Refreshing".
I got to be honest guys, at first I thought I cannot pull off this trek (you know how lazy we IT guys are), But the support we received from HimalayanHigh helped us to complete this trek.
Everyone had difficulty trekking in 'not so smooth' terrain, but after the trek we cherish the memories created by every step and sweat during the trek. A long time memory/story which we can share for a very long time.
Let me tell the best thing about HimalayanHigh group. Every individual who work in HimalayanHigh are really supportive and friendly. Himanshu(Friendly person who helps with your bookings), Suman( He is in charge of Sankri HimalayanHigh office and supportive).
Now about the guides, these guys are local people who knows the forest and mountains like their backyard. They are really friendly, Supportive and not to forget always smiling. No matter 100 times you ask them Bhaee Kitnaee door hai (How far is it?), they smile every time and tell you we are almost there, come on you can do it!.
I would like to thank the guides again on behalf of my team, Devi Lal, Mangal, Gajendra & Ramesh for all their support. I better say thanks to our driver Trilok who drove us up and down between Dehradun to Sankri, he is really a nice guy.
I'm a pure non-vegetarian and not fond of vegan foods, But their veg food is the best. It tastes very good and healthy too. They use organic vegetables to prepare food. Once you taste these guys food, you will definitely change your perception about Veg foods.
Apart from the trek, the Locals are very friendly and nice people. Sankri is a beautiful place with an eye-refreshing view.

We had our Kedarkantha trek with them in 2018 March..it was a gift for my husband and I really wanted it to be a great experience for him..there was plenty of ice after basecamp..sadly no snowfall during our hike..our trek lead Mangal was so patient and put up with us even when we climbed slow..it was difficult for both of us since it was a first time doing such big trek..but when we were summiting both Mangal and Ramesh helped me a lot to reach the point..they had good equipments too..on the whole we liked the entire trek and it definitely is memorable

I did my first snow trek (Kedarkantha) with Himalayan High and it was an awesome experience. They have a good system in place which helps even a novice trekker in having a memorable experience. We were a four member group and I was the slowest one among them. But the entire team motivated me in summiting.

The facilities provided at the campsite - the tents, food, etc were way beyond expectation and also very reasonably priced.
It's a growing firm, so don't ignore this and go for only the bigger operators.
The batch size was around 18 people, so you do get special attention and are not lost in the crowd!

Just completed the Kedarkantha trek. A remarkable experience with Himalayan High. A long cherished dream to summit an icy peak of the great Himalayas came true when I trekked to the top of the Kedarkantha 3800mt high on 16th January. Winter was at its best to reveal the beauty of heavenly blue sky,snow covered peaks glittering under bright sun,cool evening breez and clear starry nights .The winter trek to Kedarkanth is a real treasure to me for the life!The organizer Himalayan High with its well thought of schedule, expert servicemen,well trained guides and alert companionship made it all possible.The ever-smiling,never-tired persons were always ready with timely food(unexpectedly delicious,includes variety of tasty food in breakfast,lunch,dinner follwed by sweet dish every night, hot soup and lipsmacking snacks every evening,),drink(refreshing welcome drink everyday after finishing the day's trek,tea and coffee),hot water and other possible comforts... but they were very strict about discipline to make the journey for each trekker a success.They provided crampons,gaiters,fleece liners for sleeping bags to each trekker and yes..the tents with foam mattresses didn't let us feel that the temperature outside is subzero. We felt very special to see their cheerful effort to bake a cake at that high altitude for the summit celebration .The heart-touching warmth made us forget the hardship of trekking in freezing cold .We were over joyed with that never-before experience.Himalayan High is a very reliable trekking companion indeed. We had a wonderful experience with the group. We had to postpone our trek by a day due to bad weather. But Himalayan High was able to accommodate us with a newer schedule and tried their very best to make sure we can achieve what we came for. Our group successfully reached Kedarkantha summit. The beauty of this trek in winter is incredible and something you will remember for ever! We were served hot and fresh food and during our entire stay, including the camp site locations at the higher elevation.

Himalayan High just gave me the best first trek of my life! No amount of words can actually portray the level of satisfaction and contentment they give you. Completely professional in their service yet the warmth and the care with which they make you complete the trek is unparalleled. They don't just guide you with the routes, they show you the way to discover yourself in the Himalayas.
Getting down to the details, everything beginning from lodging, staying, food, SOS situations were remarkable. Kadhi, rajma, rice, fresh Methi ka parantha with delectable aloo ki sabzi, hot gulab jamuns at -10 degrees is what they provide. So any foodie planning to travel, don't even give a second thought before choosing Himalayan High. Each team member is remarkable, especially Rina Mam, Vivian Sir, and the chota packet bada dhamaka- Jagmohan Bhaiya. These people will give you countless memories.
We were very lucky since we had snowfall during our trek period. The adventure does not end there, we had one full sleepless night of stormy, windy, heavy snowfall with temperature getting as low as -10 degrees. With each passing second the survival got challenging, but the HH Team, salute to you guys, you saved us, you protected us, you made us stronger.

As a totally novice entrant in the world of trekking, i had no clue as to what I should come to expect. A rather extensive online search and research led me to zero in on 'Kedarkanth Winter Trek' and me and two of my friends decided to undertake the trek with a company called 'Himalayan High'.
We were a lucky bunch of 15 people who started the ascent on 21st Jan, '18. Apart from the spectacular views and simplicity of the whole experience (i never knew how fulfilling it felt to fill our empty water bottles straight from the river to quench the thirst 😋). The ecstasy of experiencing virgin snowfall that occurred while camping at the Base Camp was beyond description. All it took was 30 minutes to turn the green fields into a blanket of white.
Finally, the conquering of the summit gives a feeling that few other 'easy' treks can boast of.
While the sheer beauty of the ' Kedarkantha Trek' is sufficing, our trek leaders used all their expertise to augment it even further.
Nothing can beat the experience of savouring the timely and piping hot delectable food served in sub-zero temperatures. The warm angeethi just adds to the coziness..
Trek leaders Vivian sir and Reena ma'am made sure the environment was homely even while we slept in tents inside a wildlife sanctuary. Friendly, understanding, motivating, inspiring are the few adjectives that come to mind.
Back home now, I feel the intense desire to go back once again to dwell into the depths of the Himalayas. And when i do, I'll be sure to do it with 'Himalyalan High'..:)
I trekked to Kedarkantha with Himalayan High and my experience was very good. This was the first time I trekked with an organised group and prior to it I used to trek solo because I take my own time and make trekking videos for my YouTube channel ROVERPACK.
Everything was managed and properly maintained, The best thing about the trek was, our group was a small group and due to which we were able to know each member of group properly.
Food was also very good and tasty, thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast, lunch dinner and everything. Kitchen staffs prepared Christmas cake which was out of my expectation making it a memorable trek.
Lastly if I talk about Trek professionals, they are experts and the Technical guide who escorts you to the summit is a trek genius, he knows every in and out of trekking the mountains. I am glad to meet a person like him and I wish to meet him again.
Ito was just the beginning with Himalayan High, there are lots of treks to come.

Just while browsing Facebook in search of an adventure I came across Himalayan High's post and I instantly reviewed the posts given; how excellent their service was and a lot more praises.. Initially it was me and my friend and his daughter but later on my wife decided to go on the trip, that's when it all started.. .. The Himalayan High team was there the whole time, right from(Himanshu) helping me to find the exact pick up point to calling me and checking if I enjoyed the trek. They were there when i just couldn't make it and said "its our honour and pride to see people at your age going for the peak ,when I fell to help me get back and said "sometimes it's completely fine if you get your clothes dirty", they believe that's the exact way you stay close to nature. They taught me a lot (being humble.... and I sincerely pray to God to help me to stay humble forever )and made me part of some wonderful memories which I'll cherish for rest of my life, and most importantly I came across some incredible people (Suman Sir, Vivian Sir, Rina madam , Jagmohan n last but not the least the entire HH team) during this journey whom I may never forget..
Looking forward to more treks in the Himalayas with HH and if possible staying in the hills with HH

We went to the kedarkantha trek,It's been a great experience all together,staff were very helpful,though the food was veg but was excellent,from giving food from time to time,me and one of my friend got sick during the trek they took very good care of us.would recommend all to go with Himalayan high..the tent manager who guided us what to do n not ..the USP of them is small batches with extra care..with providing all the necessary things during the trek ..a very organised team.
The food was exceptional. The staff was very supportive and experienced.

We were a group of 6 who completed Kedarkantha just a week back! Able, efficient and incredibly nice trek leaders make your job half done. End to end resourcing and planning are carried out superbly by the organisers - which is really a big advantage as the only thing you need to focus on is the route and yourself! Comfy tents, nice campsites and delectable hot meals on offer make the stays very importantly relaxing and rejuvenating! Would definitely recommend.

Himalayan High is the ideal team to organize your trek with, whether you are a beginner or an expert. Kedarkantha trek was my first snow trek, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips of my life, not just because of the sheer beauty of the trek, but also because of the way the whole trek was organized by the team. Special mention to Himanshu and Suman who answered all our questions before we could even ask them and made sure we were well-prepared for the trek. All the equipment that we rented from them was top quality and well maintained. The highlight was the food! None of us had expected the delicious food we got to eat everyday. Lunch, tea and snacks, soup, momos, chole-bhature for breakfast, dinner, dessert, salad, papad, aloo parathas - you name it and we got to eat it all. Apart from that the stay at Sankri was very comfortable, and throughout the trek our guides ensured we were as comfortable, properly fed and rested, as possible. A shoutout also to their cooks, our guides Praveen and Vivian, and the entire staff really. They were such an inspired and enthusiastic group of people. Their passion rubbed off on us trekkers as well and we enjoyed every bit of the trek.
I would recommend Himalayan High very highly! They are a very passionate and hard working group of people who will ensure you have a good time in the challenging environment.

This was all different experience for me. It was my first time trekking experience but it was just so awesome and unforgettable experience for me. Though I couldn't make it to the summit I enjoyed each and everything over there. Especially efforts done by " HIMALAYAN HIGH " team made things easy for us. The way they taught us the technical things to Make our journey easy , the way they served the food and the staff who took care of us each and every moment was just so awesome. It was a Feeling of a " HOME away from HOME " also equipments provided by them was so helpful during our trek. This experience taught us so many things in terms of sacrificing comforts, humbleness for people of sankri and other staffs, love for himalays and nature, and many more things. Also out of 11 members , 2 of my friends had health issues , our guide VIVEAN sir was so much supportive and was taking care of each person individually. Hats off to the team of HIMALAYAN HIGH who worked so hard and takes care of each and every little thing to make us comfortable. If I trek ever again in life it would be with HIMALAYAN HIGH only for sure. Thank you so much guys to make our memory so beautiful and rememberable. ❤️

Dec.,2017, Kedarkantha Trek was my fourth trek. Really, it was a beautiful experience to travel with Himalayan High. It made me feel as if I came here to travel and to learn a lot how to trek( including fooding, drinking, manage the sleeping bag & other different articles while trekking & more) and why I should trek. I remember the local guides motivating us while climbing the summit. Calling us everytime for lunch or dinner till we dont come out of our tents.
The campsites are very beautifull specially kedarkantha base camp and argaon campsite😍.
And obviously the cake made by the kitchen staff after we came back from the summit was just too delicious.
Our guide ashish sir was a very interesting and motivating person and so were our local guides devraj and devilal.

My Experience - Amazing. I booked "Kedarkantha Trek"package with them. Winter trek, comes with its own set of difficulties. But Himalayan High team never made us feel so. They provided all the important gears needed for the trek - such as spikes for shoes, Gaiters, etc. The rentals which I opted for were in a very good condition. The jackets and all were new and clean. The highlight of the trek was the food they provide - you are fed so many times and with such variety of food, that you would be surprised that how are they serving such good quality meal at this high altitude. For eg: On the last of the trek we had Chhole & puri as our breakfast :D. They even baked cake for Christmas and trek day which was really yum.
Why do i endorse them - Himalayan High team comprises of young professionals who are passionate about their business. Their love for trekking and mountaineering is translated into their work. The trek package is so well planned that you can blindly trust them on anything. Even the small things are thought about. Like for our winter trek we never were devoid of hot water, clean tents, sleeping bags, etc. Planning is detailed. Suman - the anchor man is such a workaholic that he will make every individual's trek experience worthwhile.

1. Himanshu Gupta - This guy is so patient, he will entertain your every minute query and reply with utmost calmness. You can hardly expect such tolerant behavior from working professionals. He is the reason I will opt Himalayan High everytime I plan for a trek/tour.
2. Suman - The man who just manages everything so swiftly. Talking to him, you wont even feel the stress he is in during the season. He is core around which the whole Himalayan High team thrives.
3. Ground Staff and our Guides - Praveen Bhai was our guide for the trek. This man is simple but motivating. In his own subtle way he will make difficult trek seem easier. His 2 dialogues - "Chalo Chalo" and "jitna khana hai khao"will never be forgotten :D. Vivian - another member of HH who lead us for the summit is again a person with lot of determination. He is the reason I completed my summit trek within the stipulated time. The ground staff at every camp site and even base in supportive and humble. They work tirelessly and will never make you feel out of place.
4. The home stay which Himalayan High has developed at Sankri village is awesome.

Expressing my journey with Himalayan high is a bit challenging to be mended in words, they are such a supportive, passionate and responsible team. Providing each & every basic trek equipment like spikes & trek poles ( which we saw was not given by other trekking companies), our tents had good mattress which we didn't have to carry, (believe me that's a major task when you have to carry mats along). Our guides - Devilal, Devraj and world famous Mangal bhaiya were robust and well experienced. Food was delicious and very fresh- be it gulabjamuns, cake, chutney & everything you can dream of! Having such hot meals at -10°C was a dream come true ;)
I would like to mention that it was my first solo trek & apprehension of my family was obvious. But trekking in himalayas is completely safe for girls. People are simple, helpful and welcoming.

We researched a lot before our 'Kedarkantha peak trek' and found this to be the cheapest option. We had our doubts because the pricing was cheaper compared to other vendors.
All our doubts were cleared after having dinner on first day at Sankri. They managed to provide heathy, very tasty and unlimited food at freezing temperatures.

As a beginner, Kedarkantha trek was one of the best winter trek in the Himalayas. It was a certainly a beautiful trekking experience. I registered for KK trek with Himalayan High. I did not have much expectations from this trek but it turned out be a very beautiful which will be there in my memory forever. Was a boon to have experience snow for the first time, trekked in snow -up to knees and did snow sliding. I would definitely want to come back again for this trek whenever I get a chance. I wanted to be away for the noise for some time and it invariably led to trek and the name Himalayan High popped up. My bestie had previously trekked with HH team (Har Ki Dun) and he strongly recommended that I check them out. I am really impressed with the logistics and arrangements done by the Himalayan High team. Himalayan High team created a whatsapp group for members to get acquainted with one another. Especially Himashu & Suman, who were constantly in touch with our group reminding us about how to prepare ourselves, what all essentials we should carry, what we should expect by way of arrangements, giving various important contact numbers etc. The most commendable part was that whenever any member posed any query on the group, the responses are almost immediate. I have a long list of people to thank. To name few, The Himalayan High team, Trek leader Himanshu, Praveen, Vivian and all the kitchen and housekeeping team, the fellow trekkers- Lokesh (my bestie of course), Priyanka and Priyanka, Anu, Uttam, Sagar, Uttejj and other trek leader Ms Reena. Praveen had been a constant guide before and throughout the trek. Can’t forget the Christmas Cake that was baked in their kitchen staff at JKT. Himalayan High are a great team as they took care of us under extreme cold conditions. Let us create another opportunity to trek together some day.

Coming from a tropical country and doing our first winter hike will not be easy due to the cold. However, Himanshu ensured that we are well taken care of during the whole trek. A big thanks to him and his team. Definitely will recommend Himalayan High to other trekkers interested to hike in India. We are a private group of seven trekkers from Malaysia on the Kedarkantha trek in December 2017. So glad and relieved to have found Himalayan High to organise everything from A-Z for us. Suman and Himanshu have been really flexible and helpful in helping us prepare for the trip by answering all our questions patiently.
During the trek, we were happy with all their arrangements. Good food variety and taste (everytime we took more than second helpings), friendly crew, good campsites, clean camping equipments etc.
They also helped organise our Delhi and Agra tours after the trek. Himanshu knew what would appeal to first-time tourists and brought us to worthy sightseeing spots. Not forgetting the good street food and Paan we got to try! Definitely made our India trip more memorable.

Where do I start!! One of the most well managed trekking organisation I have ever trekked with. Me and my group trekked to Kedarkantha with H.High and right from the pickup from Dehradhun to the Tempotraveler the driver everything was spot on. The accommodation at the base camp Sankri is very clean and the food was excellent. The guides that came with us and the cooks were very knowledgable and humble. They accommodated all our request and at the same time followed a schedule needed for a successful trek. It was a wonderful experience. Mr. Suman and Himanshu were very friendly and Trek leader Mangal is highly recommended best man to trek with. Thank you Himalayan high for an unforgettable experience we will surely come back. Firstly the accommodation was top class, the guest cottage at the base was really a comfort place before and after the trek
secondly the accommodation during thee trek again was a complete comfy feeling
thirdly the food - what else can i say about it, extremely nutritious and tasty food served hot .

Thanks to Himalayan High family (Suman, Montu, Hemanshu and ram). Me and my wife had Summited kanyatse 2 on 27 September 2017.I was worried a lot before our trek but Suman really the great personality, who understood me in depth and made all aspects very clear. I have done Everest base camp Nov 2015 and with my wife summited stok kangri Sep 2016 in groups but kanyatse we were only two. Montu Singh the real Mountaineer, very good guide and good trek leader always encouraged us. Ram made us comfortable with variety of good quality food. Himalayan High has good quality equipments which is very important for 6000mts climbers. Finally I conclude that we can believe this family like company, may be small but does what they promise.
Had a great experience. Quality of guides, food, tents etc was great and everyone from the team was very flexible and understanding of our requirements.

We friends and colleagues (5 of us) were thinking of Himalayan trek for past two years and every time we kept on postponing it by trekking elsewhere. This year we booked the tickets well in advance in Jun for our trek starting on 29th Sept with the return ticket on 8th Oct. So we had good 8 days for actual trek. Then the research started with going through websites of different trekking companies. Most of them had fixed schedule with the batch size of more than 20. We didn't want to go with such a big group so we decided on customized trek. Then after going through rounds of discussion amongst us we drafted an itinerary to get most out of 8 days.
We finalized on Chandrashila and Kuari Pass/Pangarchulla trek and initiated the discussion with Suman from Himalayan High. In our first discussion itself, he made us so comfortable and assured if the team is fit enough will be able to complete two treks (summits) one after the other. Suman was very active and quick on responding to all our queries and to finalize on our customized itinerary. His briefing on AMS and other risks and how to get acclimatized naturally without taking tabs like Diamox helped us. Also related content on their website is complete with all minute details.
Based on our request, he even arranged for Montu Singh to be our trek leader who was just back from an expedition in Leh/Ladakh. What to tell about this Haryanvi guy. He is a true mountain lover and takes his job of a trek lead so seriously and with full passion but equally made us comfortable with his guidance throughout our trek. What a disciplined person who made us wake up on time every day. Will never forget his 6-7-8 time schedule which he reiterated every night :-)
This review will not be complete without reference of the support staff (Govind our lead cook along with Yudhvir / Vikesh and also Deepak for the safe road journey from and to Rishikesh). All our camping locations, sleeping bags, tents and the hospitality was apt. We thought we would reduce our body weight with total ~60 km hiking but the staff made sure we don't with the delicious food starting with soup and ending with a sweet dish and a hot drink :-)
Overall it was a great experience to complete the first ever high altitude treks with Himalayan High and would definitely choose them for our future treks for their professionalism and excellent service. I would recommend HH to those who like to customize the trek with small group size.
Writing for someone is like giving words to what u have in heart for someone. Believe me trekking is not my cup of tea, i am a lazy lad, comfort couch is my zone, but i cant deny my luv for valleys and mountains. The fragrance of mist, serenity of mountains, clarity of sky letting stars to breathe, trees guarding the hills and calmness of nature shakes my innersome to wake up and explore. Just a word by my guru Arvind (also my co-trekker) ‘chalega kya’, was an irresistable call, yes was the only response i made. Honestly saying Himalayan High was a new name for me, but the co-trekkers were known. Call it voyage, exploration, strength test or memorable experience, for me it started on 1st of Oct 2017 and ended on october 6th, hats off to team Himalayan high for serving us with best. They tried to feed us with best food, best shelter and warmth. Especially i was most impressed by the kindness and human touch they showed throughout, may it be Govind/Yudveer( our chefs), Suman ( the leader), Montu ( the passionate guide) and others, all were perfect. When you are a layman and unknown to surroundings, then a guide like Montu is perfect to rely on, who will walk you out of every odd and even with perfection and will escort like a shadow to boost your morale to achieve what u aimed for. Overall the whole expedition had:

We were looking for trek organizer who can customize based on our requirement, and one right thing we did is we selected Himalayan High and rest everything happened like scripted event.
(obviously i can say this after completing trek with Himalayan High). Initially I was bit worried about food and accommodation as this was my first trek , first camping experience. We walked around 60+ km with Himalayan High and every day i noticed they served us better day after day. Start from morning tea till night bed time drink everything was well planned and coordinated, snacks in evening after long walk was on time, kudos to Govind, Yudhveer and Vikesh, they took good care of our diet, I didn’t feel that I had to suffer or starve for food.
And finally trek guide I simply don’t have words for Mr Montu singh , this guy is so serious and passionate about his work. I still remember his briefing in haryanavi accent (6 7 8 , Shreemanji ) so sweet and naïve, he took very good care during trek and he works religiously. Another thing I like about Montu and Suman is they are passionate about their job and true nature lover, at some places they didn’t hesitate to remind us why we should not make noise and disturb serenity even if some bunch of ppl doing it.
So at the end it was mesmerizing and with lot of fun to trek with team which is passionate about job which they are doing.
Looking forward to do more treks with Himalayan High.

I did Stok Kangri Trek last month along with my friend circle through Himalayan High. From Starting to end it was very awesome. Mr. Suman (organiser), Mr. Montu Singh(Trek Leader) & other staff members took care of us in a wonderful manner. We reached to the summit & it was only because of our guide and i am very much thankful to it. From planning to execution everything was in order. It was more fun than we expected. Out of many things which we were not expecting, one thing i would like mention & that was summit cake at 5000 mtrs. Food quality was very good. I would love to go on another trek with this group in near future.

Trek started with 2 days aclamitisation at Ladakh planned by Himalayan high.
Day 1 we travelled around 12 KMS to camp somewhere 2 KMS ahead of village rumbak. And from here tge excitement begins. The evening tea , soup , quality n quantity of food with delicacieis.
This kept us guessing for the nrxt days to come. Day 2 was tough we ascended 5000 mts & then descended to 4200 mts. We crossed Stock La. Rested for a while. Then descended. Weather was awesome & our guide Montu was inspiring transfusing adrenaline into everyone of us. We camped near stock chu river. Again food quality awesome. Next day we headed towards base camp, we reached there at 12 & it was pouring at base camp. We dug or tents. Montu gave us our gear, harness, snow boots, crampons etc. We ate abd slept, waiting for night when we were to start the trek. We were delayed by rain. Started at 11.45 , approx 1.5 Hrs behind schedule. And then it startef after the first cliff, it was all ice n snow everywhere. It was one experience of a lifetime. We crossed frozen Rivers with water streams running through and reached the glacier at approx 4 in the morning, from here the trek was tough it was steep n frozen, all night up was tiring, but somehow our guide kept persuading us. We reached the shoulder and crossed with the help of ropes tied to each other, next was summit. What beauty, this was what we have been waiting for so long, all the pain ,trouble was worth every second for it. Sleep was all gone from everyone's eyes. We hoisted the flag, saw other countries flag also. It was exhausting. We rested for 15 mins. And then descended back to base camp. We chatted n wah dinner was served. Wow still surprises left. We had a cake awaiting us. All celebrated, we were hell if tired so everyone slept tight. Morning after breakfast we descended back to stock village. We reached in approx 6 hrs of travel. N then back to hotel.
Lovely experience altogether. No injuries to anyone, no problems, looked like another walk in the room, thanks to Himalayan high it was planned perfectly.

Summitting stok kangri for a trekker is really a dream, as it is highest trekkable Summit. For this himalayan high shows you path and direction.
We the team of 5 departed for summit of stok kangri at an altitude of 6153m in July. After 3 days of acclimatization we started our trek. Meanwhile we met our guide Monto Bhaiya known as hitlar. Professionally he is really hitlar but soft heartened person. He confirmed our equipments and suggested not to take diamox and told that it's his responsibility to take you to summit until and unless your mind stops you.
The trek started and continues via rumbak, mankorma (stok LA in between at 5000m)and stok base camp.
Our kitchen staff dinesh, dipesh and all others were really supportive enough and they gave qualitative food like eggs specially that dessert and hot drink in the night which really required by body for summit.
On the summit day packaged food was given that consist of dry fruits and energy bars.
Monto Bhaiya really a perfect guide who never let you down and gives clear instructions that we will summit.
Summit day was really tough as we have to crossed glaciers and then through shoulder we had to reach to summit. After continuous trek of 17 hrs 2 person of our team submitted stok kangri.
Then on base camp we cut the cake prepared by our chef dipesh for victory. That was really surprising and different impression.
Next day we departed to leh via stok Village. And here the trek ends happily.
What I will say ultimately is that food was awesome

Ultimately Mr Suman who helped us for long time to prepare us for this trek.
I was initially a bit apprehensive in booking Himalayan high as their previous website was slightly outdated and lacked pictures and descriptions but once I spoke about the details on the phone with Suman, I really gained a lot of confidence and was very impressed with what they were offering.
This was my first experience with Himalayan high and I did two back to back treks, Kang yatse 2 and stok kangri. Both my experiences were great, Montu Singh is a great trek leader and guide and the rest of the crew was fantastic!
The most impressive aspect was actually the equipment which is in great condition, better than most rental houses in Leh city, infact NY snow boots were brand new and so were the harnesses and helmets.
This is not the cheapest company but once you will trek with them you will know exactly where the money is going. Definitely I'm looking to do more treks with them in the future.
It was great experience having done my trek with Himalayan high for kang yatse. Few points to talk about the experience
Hotel stay in Leh: it was superb homestay in Leh with good food( little expensive though)
Arrangements: all the arrangements done were good considering our group size. The equipments, tempo travel from Leh to starting point and return , porters carrying our bags , tents, sleeping bags for subzero, kitchen tent was superb with chairs ,
Safety : they gave importance to safety , we had all the equipment required for summit push like ice axe , snow boots , ropes , crampons.
Food: It was good and lots of variety in dinner
Guides: Montu and Rajeev were helpful and approachable. They taken care of us from the time we landed in Leh .
Improvement things
1) packaged lunch would have been better and little more since everyday it was long trek
2) summit plan would have been handled better specially the local guide who has come was not up to the mark
Recommendations
I recommend this trek and Himalayan high to anyone who is interested to do pure high climbs in Himalaya.
Despite awful weather, this trip was great and I'd like to do the hike again so that I can get all the views I missed out on! Our local guide, Ajay, was amazing, and the porters were all lovely. They taught me knife skills in the kitchen that I still use to this day, taught me how to make momos, and sang for us most amusingly on the last night. Absolutely wonderful people.
Thanks to Suman and our guide Montu Singh for putting up together a trek to Stok Kangri. Suman have been very helpful since the beginning and ensuring we are ready for the trek. Montu Singh is a great guide with very good mountain knowledge and takes care of us at all times.
We had a great time with Himalayan high. We did the Har ki dun trek and it was extremely beautiful! The guides are knowledgeable and very helpful. Suman was also very helpful and kept in touch to make sure we were all well prepared. Would definitely do a trek again :)

I have been to trek to Har ki Dun through Himalayan High. I have really loved the way, the tour has been arranged by Suman and his team. Despite being trek route in Himalaya and tent accommodation, they have arranged nice food, provided us clean warm sleeping bags and enough support staff to meet all our daily needs.
I would love to do many more treks with Himalayan High in coming future.

When I contacted Suman for Chadar trek this season, what appealed to me most was him listening to all my questions patiently and answering them all in best possible way, yet keeping the expectations realistic. Having done other Himalayan treks in the past and having heard quite a lot about Chadar trek's unique challenges, trust me I did have a lot of queries beginning from the trek leading, team size, to safety measures and trek equipments.
At the beginning of the trek, Suman himself came down to check our personal trek necessities to make sure we had appropriate stuff. I found it quite useful given the extreme weather and terrain conditions of Chadar trek.
On the trek itself, had a great experience. Our trek lead, Montu Singh is an able, courageous leader who was helpful and motivating. While most other groups trekking on the same dates as us, returned from sumo itself, we went to Tibb cave and attempted to go to Nerak as well (which we couldn't make unfortunately). But the credit of making that best attempt to help the team with its destination goes to him.
I also liked that HH takes smaller groups, and not a big crowd. Food served on the trek was simply yummy, best I have ever had on any trek so far. Also the equipments like tents, sleeping bags were quite good which is very important on a trek with extreme cold condition.
Chadar trek was one of my dreams, and thanks to 'Himalayan High', it came true. Suman-da, a true Himalayan Hero , helped us in every situation. Our flight to Ladakh got cancelled, so he prepared a new itinerary, and that too at no extra cost. There's care, ethics and professionalism in their approach.
At some point during the trek the Chadar(frozen river) was broken. Potters didn't agree to go farther. Other parties satrted returning. And then comes Mr. Montu (our trek leader) who convinced and motivated the whole group to go ahead. His experience and knowledge about trekking saw us through three days of awesomeness safely.
Mr. Lapu (local guide) was jolly and witty and always kept us entertained and moral of the group high.
The cook and the potters served us all the necessities as much as humanly possible in such hostile territory. Food was good and other arrangements sufficient.
Chadar trek is once in a lifetime experience which will stay like a nostalgia lurking around the corner of memory. But it is not for the faint hearted. Conditions test the human body to their limit. But who has ever stopped the adventurous ?
1st I want to say our expedition of chadar trek was jabardast...😊.. If u want to explore max area with safety & good food then go with himalayan high. If HH cant go to last point, i dont think that any other agency can go ( on the same itinerary ). Last but not the least the full team including porters was very cordial...

Suman is immensely passionate abt the mountains, his energy and passion in this regard is infectious. Thanks Suman for the motivation. I highly appreciate Suman's organising and co-ordination skills right from the start till the end of the expedition.
Himalayan High is an assembly of very enthusiastic and hard working people, our trek leader Mr. Monty and trek guide Mr. Lapo were examples of it. Mr. Monty and Lapo are well trained people who are prompt at risk assessing and decision making. Also, the trek leader and trek guide ensured our safety and fun during the entire length of the trek, they kept giving us tips on tackling the biting cold of Zanskar Valley and on how to walk on it's treacherous ways.
The porters and cooking staff was amazing, they made sure that we are comfortable, warm and well nourished during the trek. The entire crew of HH was cordial and prompt in serving us. HH equipments were of good and sturdy quality, our safety was guaranteed.
Over all a very happy and content experience 😊

Chadar trek with Himalayan High:
This was my first High altitude, one week long trek. I had a very good experience with the Himalayan High team. Here is the list of points where this team won me over.
Positive 1
For me the biggest plus with Mr.Suman and his team is that they have a "no medicine" rule for precautions. They only ask us to keep medicine for emergency... if there is no alternative then only they would ask us to use medicines.. First night in Leh, I faced breathlessness and was really vary whether I'll be able to proceed with the trek. But the next morning, on hearing my issue, Suman encouraged me to continue that too without medicine. And here I am writing this review after comfortably completing the trek. Thank you Suman!!

Feedback - Chadar trek
Facilities - 5 star
I liked the facilities provided during trek, seven days including food, tent, very accomodating staff and equipments.
The hotel provided for accomodation were I stayed had no basic facilities including hot water. The team needs to look into better facilities for accomodating in Leh.
Trek: 3 star
I had come to trek prepared, which was the crux of the trip and test my endurance. I had given my time money and taken risk of leaving family back home. We had all chances of going to Nerak but team lead gave up on all opportunities for me to complete the expedition and return satisfied.
I hardly trekked through 7 days..
Day 1- getting acclamitized.
Hardly any walk
Day 2 - 4 hours of walk, team lead knew weather conditions, it was going to snow but still did not take us further, when we could have easily trekked to next stop and he showed no intention of Nerak.
Day 3- all day snow no trek.
Day 4 - We had to force the team to take us further for next places, we walked for 2 hours.
We could have easily camped at Tibb caves , but team lead did not want because he had an agreement with porters and did not to move further due to agreement.
Day 5 - only day I felt I was trekking it started at 8:30 and ended at 6:30
Day 6 and 7 - 2 hours of walk.
If I had to stay comfortable, I would not have taken this risk of coming to Chadar. I am not satisfied, as I could not see Nerak, when there was all possibilities to reach Nerak the main objective of the trek.
My advice: it is important for trek leaders to understand both porters and customer. I had come from so far, missed the crux of trekking and complete the expedition.
Overall a good experience.
The overall trek experience was amazing. The quality and quantity of food provided was upto the mark. Providing 2 sleeping bags and woolen inner fleace was amazing for the winter. Though the quality of hotel provided in Leh was not upto the mark and heaters in the room were not working. I would love to recommend Himalayan High for any Himalayan expedition.
With so many random trekking companies now undertaking treks all across the Himalayas, it was difficult to choose one when I decided to explore the Chadar Trek.
I chanced upon Himalayan High through a friend's recommendation & decided to just go with them without second thoughts as everything else online was quite confusing.
With the weather going awry during our trek, we couldn't manage to reach till the end at Neruk Village(a tad disappointing). But whatever we did manage to explore was Superlative.
The 3 stars are specially for their Team during the trek. The Trek Leader, the Porters, the Cook & the Accompaniments (everyone was just amazing & did their job Brilliantly & they were indeed a good bunch of people to be around with & share laughter)
The 1 Star less is for the Accommodation provided in Leh. It was strictly mediocre for the price they were charging. Yes, we were there in extreme winter time. But they couldn't even manage to provide a decent Heater system which was the need of the hour. Nor Hot Water at our convenience.The Breakfast, compared to the amazing spread of dishes we used to get while on the trek, was absolutely stale.(Himalayan High did accept this blotch & maybe they will check other options available in the future)
The 2nd Star less is strictly being a bit selfish. We weren't allowed to take a dip in the frozen Zanskar River, while many were doing it. The Trek leader should keep everyone motivated & plan things accordingly. Understand, their concern for our health & safety. But when we saw trekkers from other trek companies proceeding ahead rather than being stuck in one place,we wished our leader would have acted quick on the scenario & made sure we were able to complete the whole trek. We wasted a whole day on the 2nd Campsite while others were proceeding further.
It's one of those treks with a lot of uncertainties. You can't opt to choose to do it again for things you missed out on in the first place.
We had a fabulous time for everything we did manage to explore. Suman Chowdhary of Himalayan High was available through the whole planning process spanning months answering to our queries & providing assistance for other things not related on their itinerary, like arranging a ride to Pangong Tso & many more.
Yes.. I would definitely think about choosing Himalayan High again in some future treks I might undertake.. But I'll make sure, I get my priorities & needs sorted. Cheers

- The crew of group were good and all are very approachable
- Hospitality was good.
- Food was very good during trekking days and served on time all the days
NOT SO GOOD..
- The leader of group didn't know English and only understands Hindi which is not good for all the people
- The Accommodation at hotel was really bad and I personally witnessed same and No Hot water & at times no water to take bath at hotel.
- The leader of group lacks LOCAL KNOWLEDGE as he hails from other state while i personally feel the leader should be local who understands better about environment, situations and should not hesitate to take quick decisions.
- I personally slipped down while walking during trek one of the day, while Leader was more than half km ahead and didn't had any idea of what is happening with all group members. This needs to better managed when a group of people are walking
- When I was feeling sick and having breathing problem, asked Leader to advice on my health, it took more than 10 minutes for him to come out of tent and check my health status early morning..
It was my first trek and the best trek. All thanks to the entire team of himalayan high. Each and everything from guidance to food was awesome. The food especially was much much much better than what we had expected. Would definitely love to do more and more treks with Himalayan high.

I have trekked Kedarkantha peak during the last week of Dec with Himalayan High. It was the first time for me in high altitude treks. And HH made it even more perfect. The guide was really understanding and helping. We were able to explore the rawness of the Mountains. On a leisure evening after trek, our guide made us make bonfire on our own. And yeah we did it. We were a group of 8 for the November 2016 Goechala trek, an ideal number that ensured we received personal attention whenever required. The age group ranged from that of my son, 25 yrs, to myself at 57 yrs. At the outset I would like to give a thumbs up to a couple of things .. 1. The very prompt communication attending to all enquiries and advice given via the internet, and subsequently in person once the team had assembled. 2. The constant watchful care of the trek leader, Montu Singh, who not only monitored our physical wellbeing every evening, but also kept vigil throughout the day. There is just one word that describes him .. amazing ! The food was very good, they even baked a cake for my birthday at Lamuney ! However, what was very, very disappointing (and a big surprise considering what we had become used to) was the food served on the main summit day. That day of all days should have been special but turned out to be the opposite. After refreshments at 2:30 am the trek started. Later in the morning a light packed snack sufficed. Expectations were that on returning back to camp at Lamuney everyone would indulge in a good, wholesome, hot meal after such a long and strenuous climb to the summit. Sadly, all that was served was Phale, something akin to a large samosa stuffed with grated cabbage and carrot, and plain parathas with nothing to eat it with. Later, even the dinner was late because while the team had reached Kokchurong, the yaks transporting the tents and kitchen items took much longer to arrive. It was a long, cold, hungry wait. Another big disappointment was that on the last day of the trek, it seemed that the porters were no longer careful with the handling of the bags being transported, the bags were being thrown on the ground, the centre support strap of my bag had been removed, and on reaching Yuksom when I opened my duffle to do my packing that evening I discovered it had been torn in the bottom with numerous holes all around. My suggestions to Himalayan High .. 1. Please ensure extra care is taken to provide an adequate meal after the summit climb 2. Please provide duffle bags for clients to offload their things into so that they can return to pack their things into their own bags which will be safe from ruin. Hope this feedback helps in an improvement in your services which was, overall, good.
I did the Goecha-la trek and could not be more satisfied with the Himalayan High team . Suman , who was always there to offer advice on pre-trek prep . Montu , who pulled off the toughest job of trek leader with absolute ease and Chayan , documenting the entire trip along with sharing his intricate knowledge of the himalayas .

Coming all the way from South America, I had the good fortune to come across with this great company, and joined them for Sandakphu Phalut trek in Darjeeling region and then Goecha La in Sikkim. After some research I chose them because of their values (available on their website) and especially because of the welcoming and dedicated response I got from them.
From both experiences I got the impression that their itineraries are carefully planned, being a bit longer than usual, which gives the chance for both good enjoyment and proper acclimatisation in high altitude treks. Their trek leaders Montu and Chayan are friendly, knowledgable and safety-oriented, making you feel confident in every moment.
In Sandakphu Phalut, being a tea house trek, the trek leader always made sure that I was treated as a special guest, and when possible managed to avoid crowded home stays. He also made special emphasis on the cultural side, showing a vast knowledge of (and love for) Nepali culture. The local guide they chose was also very knowledgeable and friendly, always with a smile.
As for Goecha La, from about one month prior to the trek, Suman did a great orientation job, providing lots of advise on all possible preparation issues. Camping stays were quite a luxury: efficient helpers, very good gear and excellent food cooked on the spot (they even managed to bake a bday cake for one of the trekkers at 4000 meters altitude!). The trek leaders monitored our health condition all the time, and did not doubt in making tough decisions when the safety of all the team was compromised. And most important of all: the they made all the possible efforts to take us safely all the way to Goecha La (the pass), rather than previous viewpoints. And to bring us safely back of course.
I definitely recommend this company to anyone planning to visit the Himalayas.
My husband and I were keen to explore a little of the Himalayan mountains and were looking for a trek in Western Bengal. I found the Himalayan High website very helpful with full maps, gear lists, and explanations of each trek they offer.
We decided to book the Sandakphu- Phalut trek with our own guide and porter. From the moment we booked and even prior to booking Himalayan High were prompt at answering all our questions which is important when booking from another country.
Upon our arrival into Darjeeling we were immediately contacted by HH to check all our details and confirm pick up information. Day one we were met by our Guide and driver and we later collected our porter. Our guide Chayan was so passionate about the mountains, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the whole area we were extremely lucky to have him guide us. Our porter was also very much part of our team and had a lot of local knowledge he shared with us.
The trek itself was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole 6 days. It was magical up at Sandakphu seeing Mt Everest and Mt Lhotse/Mt Makalu and Mt Kanchenjungha (four of the five tallest peaks in the world) appear before our eyes at sunrise. A site we will never forget.
I would highly recommend using Himalayan High for any trekking experience.

During 9.24 to 10.7,with the help of Himalayan High ,our team finish the PIN PARVATI PASS TREK in INDIA Successfully.It is a very pleasant experience.
Himalayan High team is a very responsible and professional team. For me ,It is the first high altitude walking .Before I go to INDIA , I'm worried about high altitude reaction.When I arrived in India, I started my hiking trip.All these worries are unnecessary. Montu Singh tests blood oxygen and pulse every day，and gives some advice based on our physical condition.Before we go across the 4000 meters above sea level. Montu Singh take us in advance to adapt to the 4000 meters above sea level,and then back to the low altitude rest.
Himalayan High' service is also very good. Even before I came to INDIA , I was full of fear about the food in India. I thought I was going to get thinner.But In fact,I feel I'm fat after the hiking.Every day to provide a very rich breakfast,Convenient lunch,Afternoon tea(sometimes Including popcorn),dinner for our taste.When I come back to China, I miss breakfast and afternoon tea very much .Because I love Martha Lahti and Chapati they are prepared for us every day.
Of course I have some advice.I think the first few days of walking is too easy,and it can be properly compressed.I think it's the best way to finish the hike for five days or so.There will be more time to experience the local village.Because hiking is a little bit longer.I am very sorry that I can't play with drifting and gliding in manali.
A trekking experience is not always just about the location, the sights. It is actually much more & that is what Himalayan High taught me when I did the Markha Valley trek with them. Making the decision with them and having them professionally look out in pre-trek essentials, reminders and tips does put me feeling at ease and understanding more on the challenges and risks prior to the adventure.
They constantly make sure you are looked after and have the best intentions and interest to ensure you have an unforgettable yet safe experience.

I had the experience on China and Nepal before,but I never think I can enjoy such a good service in India trekking.During the period of trekking, we had tea and snacks at afternoon! It seemed that we just went on vacation under the mountain. I don't know whether other companies have same services.I talked with some of them before starting. But Suman is the most patient and logical . It is easy to build trust with him. A experienced guide and organized manager! There is no choice except him！

Stok-Kangri summit:
First of all thanks for Himalayan High! We really enjoyed our trek and we had 100% team success. There are more ways to get the summit. We had no enough time for trek before the summit so we decided to go via Rumbak. This route is a little longer, but I think it was a good decision because all of us acclimatized well enough for the summit and it is a really nice route via Stok La pass meanwhile many teams had problem because of high altitude. They provided us with all the information we needed from the beginning to the end of the trek. Special thanks for Montu, Lapu and Suman!

The entire team at Himalayan High exemplified professionalism for the entire duration of our journey (climbing Stok Kangri).
When we were deciding between tour outfitters, Suman was very communicative over Whatsapp while we figured out the details of the trip, which made planning very easy even though we were traveling in different parts of India at the time. He was responsive and helpful, customizing our trip to our needs.
We didn't have cold weather gear or mountaineering boots with us, so Lapu (the local trip organizer in Leh) took us around the shops in Leh to help us get the appropriate clothing (buying some and renting some). He was knowledgable about the clothing we needed and we had fun walking around Leh with him.
The trip guides, Desel and Montu, were knowledgeable and professional, able to answer any questions we had and helpful for the entire duration of the trek. The porters were great too. We had tons of fun for the whole trek, and the summit day was spectacular -- not a cloud in the sky, so we climbed under a full moon.
Climb Stok Kangri with Himalayan High!
Graduation completed on 2008, got attached with job and then with business, married on 2012, became a happy father on early 2015. Under this circumstances trekking for the first time was quite an enigma for me.
But after scrutinizing the Himalayan High trekking itinerary for beginners, I decided for the Sandakhphu Phalut trek on December 2015. Believe me, I am not disappointed, on the other hand was cherished by the character of our trek leader, the lepcha home stays. Its all about to believe in yourself in a new dimension. I still remember the 25th Deceber night in Gorkhey , the best X - mas night I have spend and will be in rest of my life. Trek and believe :

It was an amazingly smooth 6 day long Kuari Pass Pangarchulla Trek and its all because of the efficient services you guys have provided in terms of food, stay, guide and last but not the least knowledge sharing about the terrain. The trek leader Mantu Singh was simply awesome. The sense of responsibility that guy showed during a sudden illness of one of the trekker in our group clearly depicts the professionalism and efficiency of your service.

Kedarkantha winter trek with himalayan high:
The trek was beautiful with nature at its best. The landscape looked as if it were from one of those Hollywood fairy tale movie set! It my first snow trek and it was a spellbinding experience. The best part of trek was the summit climb. It offered bit size challenges that any tough trek would offer you. Though the trek has an easy tag on it, summit climb was bit challenging and that could be because we started our summit day from JKT and skipped camping at KK base before summit climb which is the usual itinerary. The next best thing of this trek was the food offered by Himalayan High team! Simply delicious... The good food and cozy sleeping bags eased off exhaustion at the end of each day. It is a must do trek for any nature lover and thrill seeker.
This was must 2nd Himalayan trek and really enjoyed this one to the fullest. Himalayan high had it planned very well, with accommodation food and other facilities planned perfectly. Also they gave the trek leader enough flexibility to take some decisions on the spot ( like staying at All than at crowded Sandakphu) , which made this trek more custom and unique. Also the scheduling & communication was super easy with Suman available most of the time over phone or FB. Even when we found difficulty reaching base camp due to local issues, he guided us well n accommodated the delay. It started as a group of trekkers & ended as a group of close friends.
Also the trek leader, Titash was a multi talented guy, with a great voice, better fingers on guitar and friendly nature. Surly will ask for him to be the leader for any future trek we take. The whole group of 5 trekkers, leader, guide and porter was very friendly and helpful in every stage of the trek.
I will surly recommend people to use Himalayan high for trek's without thinking much.
Suggestions:
I guess most people from South face difficulty reaching remote base camps. Tie up with local travel agencies to ferry trekkers to base camp (cost paid by us) will be really great.
I had been to Sandakphu-Phalut trek with Himalayan High.It was my first Himalayan trek.It was a very beautiful trek!!! We Could see all the peaks. Go in dec-jan time. The trek was very well organised and the helpers and the guide were very friendly and were very familiar with the places,routes and the surrounding peaks. Cheers to Himalayan high :D
One thing I really liked about the trek is that we had a small group of 5 people. I personally feel small groups are good for trekking instead of 20+ people. All 5 of us had a really good fun and we still stay in touch with each other. I made new friends in this trek :)
I have undertaken two trips with Himalayan High, last year in ladakh and this year in uttrakhand. Me and my friends are self acclaimed travelers and not tourist. We like adventure, breaking our bodies and discovering places, Himalayan high kept all this in mind and created an itinerary for us. Both the times our guides were excellent who let us venture out, of course safe precautions were mandatorily taken care. Overall both the trips were amazing, I keep on revisiting them through the pictures and Himalayan High made the memories sweeter. I would highly recommend everyone to try out one trek with HH and then your association will continue with them, as is the case with me :-). Best!!!
I have an awesome, memorable, most wonderful and inspiring trekking experience with Himalayan High. I would like to thanks to Suman Da and Mantu Da to taking care one to one for every trekker of all the small things. Willing to go my next Trek with Himalayan High again.
A group of 12 persons - 3 from Vadodara, 3 from Valsad , 6 from Pune made a trek to Harki Dun @ Gadhval region Through Himalayan High from 5th April to 13th April. Trek started from Sankri through magnificent vallies, rivers, streams, falls, jungles and remote villages. Breath taking Himalayas peaks covered with snow had kept us speechless. The arrangements made by HH was excellent. Camping was wonderful, food was suiting the situation, trek leader Montoo was excellent, guide Jyotsingh was true guide and the cook, helpers were care taking. The organiser Suman was and is very much knowledgeable and excellent commander working in back hand. We had enjoyed every second of our trek and had fun @ Harki Dun area with full snow deep to about feet! No more words to describe the journey. Had any one got chance, do it with HH for sure.
It was fun , adventure and sometimes testing ur limits , a memorable experience, will cherish for ever. The hills , the landscape and the gang , superb.
The overall experience was great, would love to avail services again.
We had the most wonderful experience of our Kedarkanth trek. The arrangements were on mark and our preparation was well guided.
Most of us were on our first trek and still we could finish the entire trek within 2.5 days.
Our team at the end was elated in soul with no or minimal aches in the body.
We look forward to trek styles at twice a year and hope our group next time will be more in numbers

We were part of the Sandakphu Phalut Trek for 24th Jan 2016, to start with we received some amazing hospitality right from Day 1 to the last day, the trek was relatively easy and the ease we received was solely from the fact that it was organised so well. Our guide Jhon was like a father figure to us taking care of all the small things we never expected. Waiting to plan my next trek with Himalayan High again and this time want to trek with organising mind Suman. You are doing an amazing job! All the best!
Have known Suman for over a year now, and must say such passion for the mountains is hard to come by. Naturally, this passion seeps into his company Himalayan High.
