- Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming; proof of vaccination may be requested.
2. Accommodation Rules
Homestays
- Most homestays do not allow pets inside rooms due to shedding, allergies, noise, and risk of conflict with resident dogs.
- Where indoor stay is permitted, owners must ensure pets do not soil or damage rooms; additional cleaning or damage charges may apply.
Camping
- Pets may share a tent with their owner only if the owner accepts full responsibility for cleanliness and any damage.
- Any torn tents, chewed zippers, or soiling will be charged at actual repair or replacement cost.
- Owners must provide a dedicated mat/bed for their pet; pets are not allowed directly on sleeping bags or mattresses.
3. Behavior & Safety
- Pets must be kept on a leash at all times during the trek, in villages, and at campsites.
- Barking or aggressive behavior that disturbs others must be controlled immediately by the owner.

- Himalayan High reserves the right to deny continuation of the trek without refund if a pet poses a risk.
4. Health & Fitness
- Owners must ensure their pet is physically fit for the selected trek. High altitude and long trails may not be suitable for all breeds.
- Himalayan High does not provide veterinary care. Owners must carry pet-specific first aid, medicines, and sufficient food.
- Evacuation or emergency transport for sick or injured pets is the responsibility and cost of the owner.
5. Hygiene & Waste Management
- Owners must carry waste bags and dispose of pet waste responsibly; no waste is to be left at campsites, villages, or trails.

- The owner agrees to comply with these Terms & Conditions and any local rules or host requirements.
