Reach Dehradun early so that you can drive quickly to Sari. After reaching Sari and refreshing up, we start our hour trek to Deoria Tal and camp there.

After spending satisfactorily in Deoria Tal, we descend down to Sari after breakfast. It is about 30 minutes descend. Once we are in Sari, we board our cab to drive us to Chopta. We camp in Chopta for the night.

Early morning we start to reach Chandrashila top for capturing and witnessing the stunning sunrise and the glorious Himalayan peaks from the top of Chandrashila. It's a 7-kilometre trek on a well maintained wide pilgrimage road for Tungnath. It takes about 2 hours to reach Tungnath from where Chandrashila top takes about 40 minutes. After spending good time on the summit, we head back towards Chopta and the descend is rather very quick and sharp. It just takes about an hour or a little more to come down to Chopta from the top. After lunch, we leave for Dehradun or Rishikesh or Auli.
